Cornish Steve
He’s going to become one of our most exciting players. He needs time to adjust to the league and to our emerging team. Until he gets used to the physicality of the league, its the only place he can play. A bit like Countiho/Silva/Mata etc, he needs to learn what the league is all about first before he can come inside. I see no reason why he cant have their type of impact 18-24 months down the line. Maybe he does need to play there for a period of time to get used to the pace of the league. Right now though, Im beginning to think Lookman is our most natural and suited player to be on the wings in this system. He needs to start. I don’t get what people are seeing to be fair. To me, he is creative, skilful, a lot tougher than his size suggests, and works hard for the team. He very nearly scored an excellent goal against Utd. He also had You g on the backfoot most of the match. Thought he did well to be honest. EFC-Paul and Romey 1878

EFC-Paul
The lad just needs some adjustment time, he's been here two minutes hardly played and new to a very physical and fast paced league He'll be fine once he moves inside more, I said when he first signed he'd be our Silva/Countinho and stand by it London Blue

Popular Post duncanmckenzieismagic
Big Bernie throwing his weight about! You would think Rudiger would have embarrassed himself enough already. How can Bernard have come at him with speed if he was stood right next to him and even if Bernard had of thrown the nut in surely Rudiger would have been clutching his kneecap rather than his nose? https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/chelsea-news-antonio-rudiger-bernard-vs-everton-yellow-card-a8630241.html StevO, markjazzbassist, Wiggytop and 2 others
Wiggytop
Laughable comments from Rudiger, however I hope he's there first choice and we get the opportunities to buy Zouma, who has handled himself very well here IMO.

sydneyneil
I thought he was very poor again though on Sunday...it could be him or Walcott who are left out for me...apart from the Leicester game, I haven’t see him do anything....he can’t beat a man to be playing on the wing and he’s nowhere near as good as sigurdsson... Popular Post Paddock
He’s still getting into his stride, he’s played barely any football since March- he’ll get better, the lad has class he will come good but we may have to wait until next season to see him in full flow. Hate the way he’s being slated for playing poor when he had no pre season no competative football for 5 plus months he’s in a new league and a new country. He’ll be sound. sydneyneil
I thought he was poor again today. He gives the ball away far too often and plays it safe too often. He doesn’t look like he wants to commit defenders like lookman does when he comes on. Palfy
Palfy
He was our worse player today first half he was very poor second half was slightly better but not good enough, he will get slaughtered against the shite if he keeps giving the ball away like today, I’d definitely play Lookman. Bill
I said after his 1st game he wasn't a winger, defenders have sussed him out very quickly he turns inside every time and they know it. Would be better in the middle but wouldn't get in ahead of Siggy, Gomes, or Gana.
sydneyneil
Yes he seems to find himself in good positions on that left wing where you expect him to have a run at the full back. He refuses every time and just slips a pass back. He’s just too sloppy in possession. I think if he scores 3 goals this season that would be good for him and that’s not enough. We need more goals from those wide areas.
Shukes
Not sure what’s going on with him. Great first touch. Lovely with a football at his feet. Great at pressing. Seems like a headless Barkley. Bad decisions, terrible passing, and no confidence. Management need to sort his head out.
Popular Post duncanmckenzieismagic
I know it’s the Everton way to find a whipping boy but FFS give the lad a chance. As Pad says he was out for a long time and he is just bedding in, give him time I think he gives us balance and he is contributing already. Brilliant dribble to the byline and cross for Richarlisons goal at Leicester . Good run off the ball to take the defender away then good one two with Sigurdsson for Richarlison goal at home to Brighton prove he can beat his man and that he doesn’t just play it back Matt, Paddock, StevO and 3 others
StevO
He made a lot of mistakes yesterday, but he kept asking for the ball, he kept making the runs and he kept trying the passes even when they didn’t come off. He didn’t hide and that shows a lot about his character. There is a player in him. He isn’t a winger, in the same way Pienaar wasn’t a winger, but he will make things happen from that position. I wouldn’t play him against Liverpool. I’d have Richarlison back on the wing, I think he would get the better of Alexander Arnold. Hafnia
This lad is a pure footballer. His upside is going to be huge. He's brave, has tremendous ability.
