He wouldn't get recruited in to the police due to his facist/racist remarks.

I'd think again about LibDems, strangely they've put a tory at the top of their tree. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thecanary.co/trending/2019/07/22/the-new-lib-dem-leader-is-more-tory-than-some-tories/amp/ rubecula

MikeO
Remarkable achievement by Boris Johnson over the last couple of days, he's actually managed to make Jeremy Corbyn look statesmanlike.

MikeO
Loved the resignation speech by Bercow earlier, really heartfelt. Interesting that the opposition benches were full and gave him a standing ovation while the "government" side had around forty sat down and possibly half a dozen stood when he finished, Johnson nowhere to be seen. With a bit of luck we may now get a Speaker who returns to the convention of being impartial.

Palfy
If and when we have another election and we haven’t cleared up the Brexit debacle, every candidate should have to declare whether they wish to stay in the EU or leave. Then the electorate can have a choice of voting on party politics or whether the EU question means more to them.

I don’t know about that but wouldn’t it be poetic justice if he had to do it Also if proven he had been deceitful to the queen should he be prosecuted for treason, after all there was a time when he would have lost his head for such actions. Personally, though being left of centre I've never voted Labour in my life (though I would if my "tactical" vote would unseat a Tory), I'm guessing you're predominantly talking about the Brexit "neutrality" position? I don't see a problem with that, both the main parties had people on either side of the argument during the referendum debate. It's only since Johnson took over that the Tories became the only party to have changed their position and become zealots one way or the other. I didn't notice Kate Hoey getting the whip removed by the Labour party for example. If you're talking about other policy I've had a pretty mad day so not really seen much.
