...but unless the polls are miles off (wouldn't be the first time) he's going to get his majority. UK's Trump, I'm really ashamed to be British just now, what is the matter with people? Do they have no compassion or conscience? Let's vote in the nasty party because we'll be OK, screw the poor.

Labour will never win an election with Corbyn as leader unfortunately. The sooner Labour realise that the better.

I agree.

It’s not over yet lads last week the Tories had a 13% lead over Labour, this week a poll by the independent show’s that the Tories lead has dropped to 6%, which would result in a hung parliament and the end of the Tories for the next 4-5 years.

As long as tories dont get a majority. I cant see them forming a government with the dup again and they wont join forces with the brexit party.

lib dems wont work with them as long as they want to leave the EU.

i can see a labour, lib dem coalition with a second referendum.

The Lib Dem’s will work with anyone that will give them any sort of power.

Tory adverts still visible that were not taken down still include links purporting to send users to “Corbyn’s Labour manifesto” which point to “labourmanifesto.co.uk” – the Tories’ site. Other uncensored adverts purport to be a link to “Labour’s Brexit Policy”, “Labour Party Education Policy”, and “Labour’s Defence Policy” but instead send users to the Conservative website.

Imagine condoning this? This is the type of shit we use as an excuse to invade and dismantle dictatorships.

The Tories will get a majority I'm sad to say so they won't need any support, the brexit party nutters won't win a single seat so they're irrelevant.

Not this time, once bitten twice shy. Besides that their flagship promise is to remain while the tory's is to "get brexit done" so there's no common ground. The nasty party will get over the line I'm sure but interestingly the bookies are backing off a bit today and "no overall majority" odds are creeping down. I live in hope.

Had someone knock on the front door yesterday so was ready for a fight but it was a bloke from the local council surveying homeowners about cavity wall insulation; told him I didn't envy him knocking on doors at the moment, could be hazardous to health! I've noticed in this election (certainly where we live) a marked lack of posters on people's houses; I'm sure that's down to the current toxicity making people scared to advertise their views in case they get a brick through their window. All very sad.

It’s very easy for them to have that stand now but if the Cunts need their help and come calling I think their stance will radically change. After all Swinson is nothing but a Tory masquerading as a Liberal.

I disagree Mark but I promise not to put a brick through your window.

Appreciate that, it’s bad enough knowing Johnson will be running the country for the next 5 years without having to find a glazer too.

Dominic Cummings will have his arm up Johnson's arse and Johnson will be purely a ventriloquist doll, he's not got the sense to talk for himself.

Lib dems are unionists first and their biggest promise is to remain in the EU. They wont be able to deliver that. Second best thing would be a second referendum. Labour has promised that so it makes sense that the Lib Dems work together with Labour to deliver a second referendum.
if the tories would promise to hold a second referendum to get the Lib Dems support it would be a different story since the tories and the lib dems have more common ground to stand on. So you might believe that the lib dems would do anything for some power, I dont see it that way, I believe its their duty to their voters to work with the party that offeres them to most influence to get their politics done. Brexit or remain is the biggest question in UK politics. Im pretty sure that the lib dems wont change their stance on that.

I'd have favoured LibDems last time but they showed their true colours. Would have made much more sense to join Labour in a coalition but they chose the tories. Labour would have followed through on their main promises yet that chose to go with the tories. Only conclusion I can come to is that they are riddled with secret conservatives and I'd even say labour were too. This county is a disgrace. I've been laughed at on here before for saying how corrupt we are but this year I think most would can see how disgusting the party is.

Ps. Anyone who voted tory is scum. Sick of it now. Sick of being polite, sick of accepting 'opinion'. Said it before I found it hard to believe the ww2 was less than a hundred years ago when I was school, couldn't believe how naive or evil people could be and I'm fully ashamed that I'm from the country that is more than likely gonna cause ww3. Seriously anyone person who votes for them is a disgrace, absolute scum of the earth. What reason is there to vote for them other than racist or stupid?

There is one thing I don't understand.  All those Tories who believe a hard brexit will damage the UK, but will still vote Johnson because they fear Corbyn will do more harm to the economy.  How can these Tories not understand that a hard brexit would do much more harm to the UK economy than a Corbyn-led minorty government could ever do?

Looking at it from this side of the Channel, there are two possible outcomes:

* Tory majority : withdrawal deal passes, much more difficult phase two starts which either crashes at the end of 2020 or lasts for multiple years.

* Labour-SNP-LibDem coalition, in which SNP will get its indyref, LibDem will get their second referendum, but there is not a chance in hell Corbyn will get his "gigafactories".  At most, UK will be run like the average EU country with a socialist government in power.

I would just go with this https://tactical.vote/

We've just had 10 years of them and national debt has doubled, yet there's been no investment absolutely nothing for the public to show for it other than the rich getting richer. Every politician should be investigated and prosecuted if their votes were not in the national interests. There's been 200,000 needless deaths the last 10 years and not one of them is being held accountable.

No need for me, fortunately I live Liverpool so haven't been brainwashed by the nasty party. On the other hand my vote won't make a difference though.
