c1982
A player we should have signed when Lukaku left… Supposedly suffered with hamstring problems recently - first game out for the season? Sounds about right!

Haiku
Incredible player when fit. Unfortunately he's haunted by injuries and at 31 is definitely on a decline. Could be a decent signing, but I would much rather prefer Moffi instead.
RuffRob
As long as its an option to buy and not an obligation. He is 32 in April and no way on earth should we be parting with a decent transfer fee for somebody of that age or with any sort of injury record. We need to stick at youngish players with bags of potential and players who are robust and don't get injured very often. How many loan places to we have left in the squad? Domestic and international? Need to filling our full quota. The stark reality is we need to realistically have one eye on being in the Championship next season. We have to limit any financial burdens going in to that division. Btay
We should have signed this lad when we signed Rondon. Now he will be another player who on his day is decent enough but probably picks up a decent wage packet & plays 1 in 5 games.
Shukes
Don’t understand why people don’t want this to go through. If we could get him in a two year deal for the correct wage then in my opinion…. It’s exactly what we need. A proven striker who can score goals. It’s not the time for an untried youngster who may work it may completely fail. That won’t help us. We need to start being practical and understand that we need a forward who can come straight in and start helping. Its like people have forgot… we’re second from bottom, not fighting for Europe. Because he's very injury prone. We need someone that can play don't we? That's the practical part coming into play. Everyone agrees he's a good player but if he doesn't play then he's another one that is hurting us, rather than helping us. Mate I read this type of thing all the time and then look into it only to find it’s our supporters pulling stuff out their backsides haha. Usually they look at his last years appearances and injury’s and that equates to them being finished. Footballers are like horses…. Splinter? Shoot the fooker! Bailey
I don't understand. Are we really going to spend £25mil and no doubt decent wages on someone of his age and injury record to ultimately play second fiddle to Dom?
