He wanted to get his player a move. It’s not information. inRead invented by Tead If you want to get your player a move you dont tell people he's a centre half, when they are looking for a CDMr. This report is from the echo, just passing on the information............ "One man who has seen plenty of Gbamin over the past three years is Michael Ebert, the South West region's Bundesliga reporter for Kicker, Germany's leading sports magazine. Rather than just having someone who can fill Gueye's boots in a holding role in front of the back four, Ebert explains that Gbamin is able to mix things up. He told the ECHO: “Physically Jean-Philippe is quite strong. Most of the time he played in the number 8 position but he can also play as a 6 or as a central defender." Newty82
Gbamin has said in his first club interview that he'll be played in the position he loves. Is that midfield then? Does that mean we plan a CM of this guy, Gbamin and Gomes? And then there's Delph...I am fairly surprised we want to spend on another CM to be honest. Finn balor
Yeah he’s said he’s here to play defensive mid but will play anywhere. Depends on if we have offers on the table for Morgan I guess. Marco has said that Delph is more of a Gomes type player which is direct competition. If Morgan and McCarthy go we only have JP. If we can’t get Dacoure I imagine Morgan stays
Sibdane
Gomes, Delph, Gbamin, Morgan, and possibly Dacoure. That would be some insane midfield depth. EDIT: AND Davies If we get Dacoure then I'm seeing Morgan as the one to leave.

RuffRob
not overly keen on this - think he is an OK player - pretty average. A poor man's Gana. Pretty good off the ball, but not that great with it. Would much prefer to see Allan as our DM purchase - not sure we would purchase both this summer with GBamin and Delph still at he club. Don't think he's had a particular good season with Watford this year, and their fans sound happy enough if he was to leave. So not a great sign. Isaiah
Opinion of a Watford fan from another forum: "Im a Watford ST holder, so have watched most if not all their games this season. I don't recall seeing Doucoure play in any of them. I assumed it was his twin brother because he has been nothing short of woeful and completely inept in every game this season. Complete chalk and cheese to seasons prior to this. He decided a long time ago he wanted to leave and his performances have echoed that. At times he looked like he was trying, but his head dropped easily and he honestly showed no technical ability last season.Keeping Sarr, Capoue and Deulofeo would be a good window for Watford" Hopefully a move to us will motivate him to get back to his best under Carlo. From how I understand the director of football situation; manager says “I need a midfielder”, director of football comes back with a bunch of options and they agree on targets. If Brands has brought Doucoure to the table and Carlo likes what he sees, they go for it. I agree that it’ll be interesting to see how this all unfolds.
