Low and behold my forums page has been wiped clean so its not much use at the moment. Edit ... Shame we have to suffer the adverts now Louis. So if people just click an ad every so often it'll help a bit. Always wanted to stay ad-free but it's got to the point now where Louis has had to give in, even though it's only one very unobtrusive ad on the page. I know there are free ways of hosting a basic forum and "too good to be true" cheap ones (like the one we tried to move to at the week-end who said they could do all we needed but couldn't) but those of us who've been around for a long time will remember the days of multiple shut-downs on match days/transfer windows where the site would slow and then grind to a stop. We'd rather not be paying what we do but as with everything in life you get what you pay for (apart from my f'king washing machine but that's another story) and sticking where we are/were is currently the best option. Now I wait a couple of seconds and the first thing that comes up are the adverts, they always show before the thread loads up. I will just mention that the sight I have is free and that doesn't come with any adverts, so there are better ones out there Louis if you search for them.
