Bailey Posted December 1, 2019 Report Share Posted December 1, 2019 I think that has been ok. I still think they look like they could create a chance. The 541 is doing alright as the wingers are so narrow and they are providing good help to the central pair. They are creating overloads and we dont know how to deal with them but one way or another we have done enough to stop the shot, or at least an easy shot. Holgate has definitely been the weak link at the back but Digne hasnt been far behind. Mina and Sidibe have done very well. Sidibe doesnt have Walcott selling him down the river every attack so his defensive play is much more assured. DCL is working hard as always, and he has had a couple of nearly moments and Richarlison has worked hard in support. Iwobi is doing the right things but then fucking up some simple passes. He just needs to slow himself down half a yard because he looks like he is rushing things (between the ears). Siggy is doing well and whilst Davies has been a bit wasteful the pair of them have done enough to stop Leicester playing through them however the former will now be on a tight rope with that silly booking as he is quite often late to the tackle. Davies is also very lucky not to be booked so they will need to be smart this second half. As things stand I imagine Bernard for Iwobi will be the first change.
