Davies very assured, controlling the tempo and getting the ball moving forward. Walcott lively too. Sig not offering much and the two behind him look a little off opting to be safe and keep the ball in the air. Sidibe keeps making the wrong decisions. Clearly suits him as he's looked real good each time he's played there recently. Good solid performance overall. Bailey Posted January 11, 2020 Report Share Posted January 11, 2020 Well deserved first half lead and in truth it should be more. Bernard is playing as well as he ever has from the left, the front two are causing all sorts of different problems. Walcott is threatening to get on the end of something too despite not really being involved in the rest of the game. The midfield two have been solid enough, Davies the better. Siggy looks like he is always at full stretch. Sidibe has got forward well without doing much, Digne similar but more reserved albeit he gets the assist. Both centre backs are doing enough. Holgate the better defensively but he has played a pass and a header through the middle of the pitch when he should be going wide which probably should have caused us more problems than it did. Overall it's good to see Ancellotti is listening to me () with the two Brazilians in their rightful places and the way in which we are avoiding playing out too much from the back, especially as they had a bit of joy early on when we did try.
