Surely he is only a backup option if Allan or Doucoure fall through ?

Although if Carlo has decided he wants rid of every single midfielder currently at the club it would be fully justified!

Means he’s got family around which will be once less issue regarding integrating

I get that. But is that his motivation for coming? To be near his brother? Or does he want to play?

Would make a difference from a player being after our money anyway.

I think Davies will be loaned, siggi sold, Delph offloaded, Besic, which will create some space.

The MLS is ideal for him. Pay big wages to star players, Delph has west ham or Leeds written all over him.

We’re stuck with Sigurdsson until his contract runs out I reckon. He’s not a star player, or not enough of one, for the MLS to want him.

I can see both Siggy and Delph staying. Happy for the former to play backup despite the wages, but hope Delph moves on (and think Leeds will want their boy back) or gets his act together when fit to provide competition. I want Tom to go on loan for his own development

Do you really think so?

Its a completely different manager and owner and I can't imagine they can offer the type of wages Delph is on here.

Its not saying a lot but he is our only other combative midfielder. He also plays a lot more vertical when compared to the others which is something I am expecting Allan to add to the side. Its the whole fitness thing that is the biggest problem and that won't attract other teams.

Just hoping and trying to be positive :)

think he’ll be a good coach, maybe manager even, but he’s not a good player.
