StevO Posted October 4, 2006 Report Share Posted October 4, 2006 went down to see tha game last night, had nothin better to do. just thought id comment on it really... VDM looked fit, ran his arse round the pitch the whole game, and didnt look to tired, must have impressed a little, and got the assist. McFadden is still so frustration, if only had pass the ball instead of taking on that extra man EVERY TIME!!! did well though. Both Full Backs, Irving and Moleneux, both looked quite capable, both had a bit of a pace and determination about them, some good overlapping down the wings too. Vaughn and Victor were both a threat, Hughes and Weir looked composed, Vidarsson looked ok, not too special, as did Phelan. JP Kissock came on (needs a hair cut and his kit was way too big, made him look vertically challenged) he showed good control and a little creativity, but probably came on a little too late. Jack Rodwell came on too, looked composed and quite strong. For me Ian Turner was the man of the match, this lad looks real quality, should be pusshing for the number 1 shirt in a couple of years.
