Got a good feed on YouTube with American commentary team.

Some good bits, some not so good bits.

Gray is a bit rocks and diamonds at the minute.

Kean some good link up play, but could've had 2 or even 3 goals.

Keane and Godfrey have had a few wobbles, where they just seem to get in each others way.

Everton maybe ?

Thats what I did on the YouTube app on my tv and took me to a good stream on premier

Sounds a bit complicated to me:P. Everton TV second half was OK other than some sound issues.

Just seen some highlights - looks like we are getting to the by line a lot and looking to cut the ball back. I’m pretty happy with what I’m seeing so far. Defensively most our starters are playing and we have conceded 1 goal. Add in a few more of our starting attacking players and it’s looking promising.

Wasn't able to watch the game, but judging by the earlier comments about Kean missing a few opportunities, and then hitting his initial shot straight at the keeper on the goal, plus the amount of times I've written on here "Kean should've scored".....

Is he actually a quality finisher? Because I haven't been impressed by his ability to be clinical in his finishing. If he stays with us this season, he better become a deadly finisher of the ball, otherwise he's gonna be rotting on the bench again.

No I think is the simple answer when playing for us he was constantly fluffing his lines, I can’t say whether he was good bad or indifferent at PSG because I never watched him.

Having a gander at a PSG forum found this comment..

"Le meilleur attaquant du monde dans 2 ans"

Best striker in the world in 2 years. Don't see it myself.

Finally watched the game.

I thought the shape of the side, the press and our compactness was much better than the start of the other game. They were a crap side, but we made them look bad and that is progress.

The formation was slightly different in the second half and it worked well to start with but as the energy levels dropped we started to concede possession and some half chances.

As for the players the main person to impress me was Iwobi. Worked hard, linked the play really well and should have capped his performance with a goal at the end.

Broadhead showed some glimpses again. I have been really surprised by him. It is just that final bit of quality that he hasn't proven yet but he is doing the simple stuff and that led to chances for Gordon and Doucoure. If I am honest I think he has shown more than Kean. There isn't a lot between them. Gordon showed similar promise again, but also lacked the quality to finish things off.

Allan was playing really well as the single pivot until he got a bit sloppy at the end of the game. He was bossing the game before that but it is becoming a theme with him that the longer the half goes on the worse he gets.

As for the new boys, Begovic was solid enough with the little he had to do. Townsend was poor and not really involved. Gray played well but he is so one footed and it will be predictable against decent players. His first touch and ability to accelerate is very good.

There were a few poor players. Davies and Gomes were crap. James was terrible when he came on too. It felt like he gave the ball away with every touch for at least 10 minutes. He did get better as the game went on and should have scored. I still haven't seen anything to say Kenny is even at Coleman's current level, let alone the level we need to progress.

Overall though I think we are in a better place than we were at the end of last season and lets see how we get on against Utd!

Don't buy the argument about being one-footed and predictable. Everyone knew what Arjen Robben was going to do - he still did it. Plenty of other footballers fall in that category.

I do agree about his pace and touch. It was great to see him driving forward, skipping past players. Just what we need.

That is true, Mahrez is similar as well, but they are exceptional footballers. Even the biggest supporters of Gray do not think he is that good. I am not sure about Robben, but Mahrez is capable on his other foot. Gray was taking touches with his right foot when it was far more awkward to do so which means he is more off balance and generally has less reach. The advantage he gains with that pace can be lost because he doesn't want to use his left foot.

As a defender, if I work out a player is one footed, it doesn't matter how quick or technical they are, I know they can be stopped or at least significantly restricted in what they can do through positioning and showing them the way they least want to go.

The league is also very defensive on the whole so whilst I am sure he will be fine in open games like he was against the two South American sides, it will be very different when he is cutting inside into banks of 4 in the league.

All I know is that in the two friendliest so far, Gray has arguably looked our best player.

He's looked hungry hasn't he? I know the opposition's quality hasn't been great but I didn't realise how good his feet were.

His talent was always clear as day in the short bits I'd seen in the past, amazed by his fall from grace. Hopefully his head is sorted now because, if it is, we've got a quality player on our hands.

Watching him I have been surprised. The speed of his feet at times is something no other player in our team has got.

Your’e spot on with his head. If he can be coached right, we may have a bargain on our hands.

I always think this but if you watch Messi he generally keeps things on his left but still manages to beat most defenders and I always think that surely you know which way he is going to go.

I know it's my biggest issue when I play though, i'm very much left footed and can't do a thing on my right!  anyone that's played against me for a while knows which way i'm going every time!  If only I could use my right I could have been a great player! 😆

Remember Chelsea absolutely destroying him one game. Assume it was Ashely Cole, but can't remember who was left back, they kept playing him on his right and he had no answer. At one point he carried the ball all the way from the left to wing to the right, was embarrassing.

😂

I am two footed in that I am equally as bad with both :)

I haven't seen anything from the club to say whether or not the finalists are back in training yet but I think they probably should be. Kane was expected back at Spurs on Monday so I suspect they are.

I would be surprised if they play though as it would be quite a short turn around.

DCL definitely is back in training.

Little bit worried that DCL isn't even on the bench.

There are quite a few missing:

Dom

Kean

Gomes

Gylfi (obviously)

Virginia

I am sure there are probably a couple of others I haven't thought of too.
