Shukes Posted January 22, 2022 Report Share Posted January 22, 2022 Pickford. Solid throughout. Few good saves. Holgate surprised me. Was not dominant, but at least challenged for headers. Richarlison battled like hell. DCL won so many lost causes, but that kept him out of the centre. Gomes back to his usual the last few matches. Don’t think it will be long before he is gone or sitting out. Gray was very quiet today. Always going to undone when balls come into the box. We simply don’t have anyone commanding in the box. Mina was second, him and Holgate had a couple of wobbles where they looked like they hadn't played together for a while and the communication wasn't there (Watkins chance) but they barely gave Villa a sniff and I thought Mina just about edged it.
