We're going to be looking at a few key moments in Southall's career, including his infamous goal post sit down in the 1990/91 Division One season opener against Leeds United. I'm looking for a fan called Jimmy Sanders who confronted Southall and told him to 'Get up and wear your Everton shirt with pride'. Jimmy was living on Park Lane, Netherton, back when it happened in 1990. Does anybody know if he's still around? It would be great to get an interview with him for the documentary. Thanks!
