GoldfishMemory
DUNCAN FERGUSON is ready to pack his bags and start a new career in Australia with Perth Glory after turning down the chance to play in the Premiership. The veteran Everton and Scotland striker has been offered a move to the Western Australian outfit and could sign next month. He has rejected offers from English and Scottish sides since quitting Everton at the end of last season. He is prepared to sign for Perth when their window opens in November, in time for the second half of their season. Ferguson is happy to take his family Down Under and start a new life there - or split the year between bases in England and Australia. He was used mainly as a substitute by Everton in the last two years but thinks he is fit enough for the less demanding Australian League http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/tm_...-name_page.html Cant believe he's gona move half way arounD the world before I get to shake his hand, I never had the pleasure of meeting Duncan and he gave me so many memories

Pat
Pretty Ironic that the same week a Manager tired to strangle an oppo player in the tech area during an OZ Leauge game that Dunc's name should then be mentioned. Wait till Duncan meets the "Og" This bloke eats giants 4 brekkie.

Tara Mac
Thank god he's gone, maybe mac will now shut up about him. Is it true he only ever scored 41 goals for Everton?, if that it is true why do so many have him as their fave all-time player. T

Tara Mac
I'm sorry but that is not good enough for a club the size of Everton, as it has been often said in our house "fuck him, the overpaid, overated, pompous twat". His words not mine. T
java2001e
duncs flawed personality ensured that he never reached the heights that he was capable of. he still did a great job for Everton tho. especially when we finished 4th. he'd come on as a sub and get the winner or the equaliser. he should do well in oz. Pat
Watched an oz game last night C-Coast V Perth. ( open end to ender game 2) Pre match interview with Perth Manager & he basically cringed @ the mention of Duncan arriving & muttered something along the lines of the 2 parties have very differing ideas regarding contract lengths & Moolah. he also mentioned he was offered Duncan rather than them actually pursuing him. Will see what unfolds.
