badaids
If Gana is going to give the ball away that deep 10 times every half, he finished as a footballer.
milesey05
So Leicester playing like the home team. Onana bullied off the ball just before their goal. He’s young but he’s got a lot of learning to do. Massive improvement needed second half or more Henry Westons to make it look better from my perspective
Elston Gunnn
18 minutes ago, Palfy said: Gana isn't good enough to play through. It’s a real problem. Gana has to be the sitter, but if we’re playing from the back, it’s through him, which is, to put it kindly, not his strength. This is a big issue. Don’t know how Lampard deals with it, but I hope he recognizes it, as it’s obvious. Palfy

Elston Gunnn
It will be very disappointing if Lampard waits until the 70th minute to make changes. Gordon should be ready to go full tilt, as he was relegated to the bench. Gana must come off, Garner on. Move Onana to sitter. Patterson on. Back 4 Onana Gordon Iwobi Garner DCL Maupay
RPG
Nothing seems to join up in our team play. We are almost back to being a bunch of individuals waiting for something to happen. Not good. Flashes of promise followed by giving away easy possession. I like Gueye but we can't play through him. He is a destroyer who needs to win the ball and then needs to give it immediately to the closest blue shirt. If we are going to play like that in the second half then we need to get Garner on. I would also bring Patterson on for Coleman and think about Gordon at the 60 minute mark. We need to shake things up. Elston Gunnn

Palfy
I understand why Maupay had to come on today because of the injury, what I don't understand is why we bought such a dismally awful player. Let's hope and pray that we have the money to line up a decent striker in the January window, if not we have serious problems in front of us. Wiggytop
Elston Gunnn
The “Gana problem” is really delicate. He’s expressed great love for the club and is widely thought an amazing energy player. But he can only play sitter and is quite undependable to play through. Unless he’s injured, Lampard will probably stick with him. Because, complicating the problem, we don’t seem to have an obviously better choice as sitter. I’ve always thought Doucouré should play there, but he won’t, doesn’t, or isn’t asked to do so. Onana, perhaps, but it’s just a wild, probably hopeless hope. I’m inclined to try Davies there, and desperate enough to try Holgate. All this says nothing about our inability to finish, our lack of driving-forward wings — Gray and Gordon sometimes, yes — and our godawful passing. i can’t explain the Palace win, because that's not the Everton on display most matches. Alas.
