It's hard to take positives when realistically this is a game we need to win.

We're going to have to go on a hell of a run at goodison if we are to stay up. Edging closer and closer every week to the championship with very little inclination that this squad are currently mentally strong enough to avoid the drop.

The most gutting thing about that game was how we were actually starting to look comfortable and let Forest puff themselves out when they scored the equaliser. The way in which it came about as well, from the otherwise excellent Doucoure, was just so avoidable.

It was a good performance, one of our better if not best away displays this season.

The only threat to us all game and we leave him alone in the box twice, a point not much use to us, but i see slow steady improvement each game, the only thing that baffled me was the subs, slow man up front when your looking to hit them on the break, and Davies has lost the plot about what's required in the team. I understand Grey was tired but their must have been someone on the bench with pace, regardless of position.

The positives are the attitude, fight and spirit. I also think that a very low points total will be required for survival this year. Maybe as few as 34. The negatives are the individual mistakes costing us again. I think Pickford could have done a bit better with the first goal by palming the initial shot further away and Godfrey had come in from LB to cover the CB position which left the man free to tap in the rebound on our left. Doucoure also gifted Forest possession for the second goal - which was nicely finished but he should never have had the chance.

Overall, lots of positives but we need to start winning games.

Gray is a better option than Simms or Maupay up front.

I'm a little bit on the pissed side but I don't think I'm wrong in saying that we should have won that.

Apart from when we scored our first goal I don't feel like we were really under pressure in the game. I'd have taken a point before the game but by the end of the game I'm disappointed to only take a point.

The life of an Evertonian.

The effort was there but the result wasn't good enough that for me was a must win game, some seem happy with a point which is fair enough, but not me drawing and losing against teams around us isn't going to stop us going down. Now we have a tough run of I think 5 games we need a minimum of 6 points from those games or we risk stating to be cut off from the team in 17th place. Hopefully before we play Brentford Toney is serving his ban for gambling.

It felt like a loss for me but it was key we didn’t lose.

the positives I take is that we are a far better team than we have been. Gray as a striker is far better and I believe with Patterson and Garner returning with maybe dcl too. Onana should have come off and Garner was the ideal one for me.

for me other teams above us like forest, palace, Leeds are gonna drop a fair few points and we will pick up some wins.

put it this way, if we win I’d be very confident of survival, a draw and I’m still very hopeful.

I agree this was a must not lose. But by not winning it's also made Saturday a must win. We needed 4 pts from these two games.

Six more home games this season - Brentford, Spurs, Fulham, Newcastle, City, Bournemouth. If we can't win away we sure as hell need to win at least 3 of those. Realistically 4.
