Since the 2011-12 season, only 7 teams, including Everton this season, in Europe's Big Five leagues have suffered losses in their first two matches of the season and had a -7 GD. The only one of those clubs to avoid relegation was Werder Bremen in the 2016-17 season.

You sound a real bundle of joy 😆

If you look at how that team's season went, they had a really bad start and even lost to a smaller side in the DFB Pokal. Ended up going on an 11-game unbeaten streak and nearly snagged a spot in Europe for the following season.

Oh that’s a better outcome on the situation, you should have said in your earlier post.
I would be more than happy with a 5 game unbeaten run and a 17th finish at this moment in time, but that’s just me being pessimistic or am I being overly optimistic.
I think Saturday will give us a fairer indication of how our season will go.

Dcl not in the box for cross?!

He should be going in on the last defender anticipating the ball in not hanging back so he can’t make the space up when the ball comes.
Very basic really and frustrating when it doesn’t happen.

Love it when Ndiaye gets the ball at his feet.  Should have done better there, at least someone get it on target.

True, and the pass should in our perfect world also be harder.
