StatesideToffee14
Since the 2011-12 season, only 7 teams, including Everton this season, in Europe's Big Five leagues have suffered losses in their first two matches of the season and had a -7 GD. The only one of those clubs to avoid relegation was Werder Bremen in the 2016-17 season.

Ended up going on an 11-game unbeaten streak and nearly snagged a spot in Europe for the following season.

I would be more than happy with a 5 game unbeaten run and a 17th finish at this moment in time, but that’s just me being pessimistic or am I being overly optimistic. I think Saturday will give us a fairer indication of how our season will go.
Romey 1878
Just to add to the positive stats... Quote Everton have lost all five of their Premier League games in August under Sean Dyche without scoring a single goal. Dyche, has a win ratio of just 12.5% in August, the worst percentage of any manager to manage more than 10 games in August. dunlopp9987 and Matt

badaids
The Bournemouth manager will have told his team that we are fragile, weak and the fans will get on our backs. Everton players and fans have to prove them wrong. Palfy

badaids
Nice to see us show a bit of strength on the ball and actually knock it about sharply.
badaids
Ndiaye really looks like a player who can turn and take the ball on the move, we lost our only player who can do that went Richi went. dunlopp9987 and Elston Gunnn

He should be going in on the last defender anticipating the ball in not hanging back so he can’t make the space up when the ball comes. Very basic really and frustrating when it doesn’t happen. True, and the pass should in our perfect world also be harder.
badaids
McNeil so infuriating. Wins the ball back, then literally unable to pass it because he cant use his right foot. Got to make this period of pressure count. Bournemouth are all over the place.

Matt Tiger
Ndiaye makes us a completely different side. Get him central and we can be dangerous consistently.
