FairWooney Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 Could it be the last every FA Cup game at Goodison? Could it be Dyche's last match for Everton or the first match for a new/temporary manager? Who knows! Peterborough like us are having a pretty poor season, 19th (out of 24) in league 1, they've only picked up 1 point in their last 5 games. They seem to have a very healthy ability to score with the 3rd most goals scored in the league (more than Wrexham in 3rd place!) with 41 goals in 24 games, however they have also scored the most goals in the league (46). Surely an opportunity to try to attack a team that can't defend whilst you'd hope our sturdy defence can handle a league one attack! 23 year old Kwame Poku seems to be the man to watch out for, he's banged in 10 league goals this season in 17 games along with 5 assists. Everton side: A couple of changes just to try players out and freshen up is all i would do. would maybe take the chance to give O'brien a game. anyone who can play instead of Mykolenko? Pickford Patterson O'Brien Branthwaite Mykolenko Mangala Armstrong Lindstrom Ndiaye McNeil DCL I'm sure we won't see that team or Ndiaye in the centre played as a 10 (not a Doucoure 10!). Popular Post MikeO Posted January 7 Popular Post Report Posted January 7 Coming up to watch this, with my son and my brother; almost certain to be my last Goodison game. Arriving tomorrow then home on Friday after a stadium tour in the morning....never done one of those. Result is of little importance really, we're not going to win the bloody thng anytime soon, though it'd be nice to see a few goals. Going to be fun whatever KinL, AlbanyNYToffee, FairWooney and 5 others 4 4 Quote
FairWooney Posted January 7 Author Report Posted January 7 hopefully you get a decent game Mike. Given their goal scoring record you'd expect it to be fairly open from their side! Hopefully we come out attacking and look to make the most of their poor defensive record by actually playing like we want to score! We should be able to trust our back line to handle their attack. Was hoping there'd be something, didn't book it earlier because of my hip after the journey. Oh well, Villa is booked at least. At least I get to see a proper spanking MikeO 1 Quote
