Peterborough (Home) - FA Cup 3rd Round

I think this is going to be a painful watch, I obviously hope it’s not and we comfortably beat them without any scares.
But I see a Peterborough team coming here with more confidence than us, not being scared nervous or daunted in any way and making Dyche and his tactics look like a joke, if we go out with defensive long ball game then win or lose he has to go.

Everton fan safety services confirmed a meeting will be held at 1 p.m. GMT (8 a.m. ET) to determine if the game can go ahead safely.

"A safety meeting involving the club and relevant authorities will be held at 1pm to assess the weather and travel conditions for tonight's FA Cup fixture against Peterborough United," the group said on social media.

"At this stage the match is planned to go ahead as normal and every effort is being made to ensure that remains the case.

"We will continue to keep fans updated, and will provide more information following the meeting."

This has been known since the date of the fixture was announced.

Just a reminder mate, the roads are awful and the trains aren't going last I heard so those who were going and can't get there might not have seen it.

Dear Ben,

Everton’s third-round FA Cup tie with Peterborough United will go ahead as planned this evening (kick-off 7:45pm).

A safety meeting was held this afternoon to assess the weather and travel conditions for fans attending the tie, which confirmed the game can go ahead.

Everton Staff and a crew from Liverpool City Council’s Streetscene Services team have been treating the roads and footpaths around the stadium since the morning to ensure they are as safe as possible for supporters accessing the stadium.

Anyone attending Goodison Park is advised to prepare for the cold conditions, take care and to allow extra time that may be needed in travelling to the game, including being aware of any advice and weather warnings that may be in place in areas fans are travelling from.

I’m not sure if they have enough time to make any changes. Maybe the odd one. But they haven’t had time to look at tactics or anything really.

So will be surprised if they try something different. Would love to see it though.
