MikeO
Mark started a thread on this which has been lost but....from the BBC Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd says he is "right behind" under-fire manager Glenn Roeder and is backing him to lead the club to Premiership safety. Shepherd met Roeder and the players on Monday to discuss the club's slump to second bottom of the Premiership. Shepherd told BBC Five Live: "I've got full confidence in the players and the manager. We'll get out of this blip." That's the end of him then !
Ian
There calling for Shepeards head but money has been spent! There just shite and always have been and need to relise that there not a big club. There players are woeful and they don't have any outlet upfront now Shearer has gone. I dont think Roeder isnt that bad a manager, hes just got in the wrong job!
