adamcoffey
When will Moyes finally admit that he has made a mistake! No more excuses. BT is not good enough. Im sick of having to read the newspaper every week and seeing articles saying "Moyes Challanges Beattie" "Moyes Says Beattie will come good" etc etc. Get over it! Steve L
Agreed! He's had enough opportunities to do something and taken none of them. He lacks the attitude to play in this team and young Victor makes him look worthless playing in the same positition. Just look at the difference between the two. Time to sell I think and we can use what we get for him to strengthen a bit. Do the decent thing Moysie and flog the waster!
MikeO
Sadly I have to agree. Don't know what's gone wrong for the lad...we were all telling Sven to take him to the World Cup not so long ago! And have a look at this....>>>TT April LINK<<<. Randomness
regarding us saying take beattie, this time last year he put effort in and thats why he was scoring goals and playing well that took us on that amazing 10 game streak. Now he's Shite, Lacks Effort or Interest. Edited January 1, 2007 by Randomness

Heather_6
I blame Moyes for the Man City defeat, we should have beaten them- their shite. N its Moyes's fault for playing BT- what I don't understand is that a striker scores two goals then the next week hes dropped so a shit player can take his place
StevO
what I don't understand is that a striker scores two goals then the next week hes dropped so a shit player can take his place coz he played a game 2 days earlier, hes only a kid, gotta bring him in slow
Romey 1878
coz he played a game 2 days earlier, hes only a kid, gotta bring him in slow That's true but I could understand him bringing BT in if he'd been playing marginally well, but he hadnt, so Vic should have started. Him not starting will have dented his confidence IMO.

Romey 1878
Well if i was him and I'd scored two goals in the last match and then I was dropped for a lazy sack of shit who doesnt even know where the goal is I'd lose some of my confidence. Lower Gwladys
Against City BT contributed little. At the start of the match you could see he wanted to try but failed in the air against Dunne. After loosing a few he just didnt look arsed and it was frustrating to see him come out for the second half. Moyes needs to make changes earlier within the game!! Fatboyquim
I agree - sadly BT had a chance to become a Goodison legend - he has come no way near. VA should have got the nod for the Man City game, his confidence was high after bagging two goals against the barcodes. I think Moyes may have gave BT the start to respond to VA - he failed. Newcastle or Blackburn for BT before January is out !! Edited January 3, 2007 by Fatboyquim
