MikeO
Exactly....Hamilton & Button are going to be super-fast now I think. Sixteen laps....gonna be fun!

Romey 1878
Looks like Vettel has this one in the bag now.
MikeO
So if they're running the same 1,2,3 next week-end (quite likely) then Alonso wins the title....Vettel has to give way.
MikeO
Find it a bit odd that the bookies have Alonso as the favourite now. Red Bull very likely to be 1/2 in the last race, in which case Webber will be allowed to win and third wouldn't be enough for Alonso. Also think odds on Vettel winning are generous (up to 9/1). If Alonso were to break down/crash then a win would give him the title over Webber on races won (assuming Webber came second). But I hope (and think) Webber will win it . Romey 1878
I want Webber to win it just to piss Red Bull off. It also helps that I like him a lot.
MikeO
Also think odds on Vettel winning are generous (up to 9/1). Why do I never take my own advice ? Tipped Button to win last year as well when he was 100/1ish....didn't bet on that either :crying smiley: .
holystove
What the hell was Alonso's problem with Petrov? There's no reason what so ever why Petrov had to let him pass. First of many for Vettel. Edited November 14, 2010 by holystove
MikeO
What the hell was Alonso's problem with Petrov? There's no reason what so ever why Petrov had to let him pass. That was hilarious. Finding a scapegoat for a desperately poor gutless performance I guess .

MikeO
Change in the commentary team, Brundle & Coulthard to do it. Could be OK, didn't like Jonathan Legard very much...David Croft who does the practise sessions and the 5live commentary is much better I think. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9355081.stm

Romey 1878
I din't like Legard either. It didn't seem like he knew what the hell he was talking about half of the time, and I could almost see Brundell looking at him like "wtf?" sometimes! MikeO
http://www.clubcall.com/formula-1/kubica-targets-2011-comeback-1164051.html What I want to know is....what does "partially severed right hand" mean? Does it mean that part of his hand was severed or that his whole hand was nearly severed? Or does it mean he had a deeply cut wrist and some journo got a bit carried away? Suspect it's the last one. MikeO
Following the testing on the beeb, just had this... "Is Lewis Hamilton about to silence the McLaren doomsayers? Out of nowhere, the 2008 world champion produces a flying lap of 1:23.540 to go fifth-quickest. An hour-and-a-quarter left on the clock - can Hamilton make up for a shocking morning with a stunning afternoon?" But yesterday Jenson was second fastest with 1:22.544 only three tenths behind Webber . I think the McLaren "problem" is being talked up myself....don't think they're far off the pace at all.
