jamiemaher85
If we can perform likle we did on sat the we should easily win this, im gonna go 3-0 again (ooo the optimism) 2 goals to johnson, 1 to beats (it has to happen sometime) saying that though Sheff Utd will be fighting for this game, with the fear of relegation breathing down their necks, but after seeing them against us earlier in the year they looked very poor. just have to see how we fair at brammel lane. Joe
1-0 Arteta . By no means is it going to be easy playing at Sheffield but I think we will win. Reading have Arsenal so hopefully we can pass this over the weekend.

Adam
Normally when all the pundits and all the fans and even the bookies all have us to win we normally go and..... Lose. Don't think this game is going to be easy. SU still trying to get as many points as possible to avoid relgation and since they not safe yet can't see them playing as bad as they did against us at the beginning of the season. Think we have to go into the game with the same side that started against Watford as I strongly beleive you don't change a winning side. However have a feeling that we going to go a goal behind quite early and going to spend the rest of the game trying to catch up. I think it will be a 2 all draw
Zed
I dont think it will be easy, Shef U are stong at home, although shite away. If we have any ambition we should be looking at a win and although it was only Watford I was very impressed with the team and think well do well here too, as we know fernandez is looking a good addition I agree with adam on both points 1. Not changing a winning team and 2. When everyone predicts you to win, you loose Anyway, 3-1 to us
SimonButtle
providing there are no injuries we have to keep the same line up, 2-0. Edited February 27, 2007 by The Prisoner

MikeO
Who knows maybe Blackburn can beat Bolton. Agree with the sentiment but it may be better for us if Bolton push on and secure fifth...they've got to play Reading as well and I'd prefer to have the teams within striking distance of us drop back as far as poss. I'd happily settle for sixth come the end of the season. Anyway...Saturday, same team, attack it like we did first half at Watford and we should be OK. Mac
BT is simply not good enough, I don't care about a crisis of confidence, If I earned what we are paying him I would have confidence coming out of my arse. Too slow, not enough effort. Fuck him off now, he isn't even good enough to justify the phrase "squad player". Overall, poor performance against a poor team, we should be beating fuckers like this on a regular basis. ATB Mac

Dunny the Blue
I agree that the performence was very poor in what was a really poor game in truth. there was no fluency what so ever and I'd say it s between Arteta or Osman for our best player, I think using Beattie as a scape goat again is a poor do cos although he never had the best of games i hardly saw AJ apart from the penalty and when Vaughn came on his was shite, just did the same as Beattie!! Pat
Think of all the points we have thrown away. A tiny bit more consistancy & we would have been right up Wengers Arsenole.
Joe
Think of all the points we have thrown away. A tiny bit more consistancy & we would have been right up Wengers Arsenole.A lot of it has to do with the small squad in my opinion. To be consistance with a small squad you have to have very little injuries and we all know that hasn't been the case this year.
Pat
Cant disagree Joe, & we were all Mostly screaming the same thing i.e squad size a good cple of weeks before a Ball was even kicked. Result = we sold another player on deadline day. However,we have thrown some silly points away that cant be excused & it could well end up the diff. CraccerC
thrown away? playing badly isn't throwing away it's just plain getting outplayed, but we didn't get beat ... we actually got very fortunate to get a point and we should be grateful, we could very easily have gone empty handed, as ive said better teams have gone away with the same or less
