Joe Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 I would be a little surprised to see him play on Saturday. A sprained ankle usually takes some time to heal depending on how serious it is. Quote
Pat Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 With 3 games 2 go my dressing room would resemble a junkies hovel. Be shooting him up with this, he up with that, jab's of Cortisone here, nandrolone there. We need all hands on deck & if we have to juice a few of them up, so be it. Quote
Droobie Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Aaaah.... this sucks... I know there's only a few games left, but I'm one of the philosophy NOT to pump a player with pain killers just to have in on the field. I'd rather have AJ fit for next season than recovering from injuries incurred now and unable to be 100% after the break. Quote
Adam Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Johnson facing United this weekend with all there injuries at the back would be great with his pace but I can't see him playing. Can;t see him being risked by the club when think they have more chance of beating Portsmouth. Quote
Blue4Ever Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 I got the same injury a couple of hours before him but mine could be a fracture so am fucked for at least 3 weeks a fink. Quote
KillaGTiR Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 i wouldnt risked him rather let him recover fully why chance it Quote
StevO Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 hard one this. take the risk as this will be our best chance to beat a weak united team, or play it safe for pompy. get pat to Goodison asap with his magic bag of tricks! i want to go for this one Quote
thebluenose Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 or we could go defensive and play for the point v united. and then go all guns blazing v pompey when some of our players have cleared up. and ditto v chelsea Quote
