Reports in the Greek media claimed that Basinas, 29, underwent a medical at Goodison Park on Wednesday. Basinas, a member of Greece's European Championship winning squad, has been without a club since his contract at Panathinaikos expired in September. toffeplus Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 I work with a greek fella who rates this guy said he is a solid holding midfielder loads of experience and would come cheap as low wages and no transfer fee, with the state of our midfield some times this season he has got to be worth a punt. But centre of the feild is probabley the best covered area, out wide (both left and right is an area that could be improved given our injuries) Can he play out wide I wonder.
