GoldfishMemory Posted May 14, 2007 Author Report Posted May 14, 2007 I'd sah he'll go to Citeh & Coleman to Wigan but then theres also Bolton managerless!! Quote
Romey 1878 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Im happy because I can't stand Paul Jewell and Dave Whelan has just about got on my nerves with all us fucking moaning. Wigan to struggle again next year? I think so. Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 I hate Neil Warnock the most. He gets on my tits, everything is always someone elses fault. Anyhoo for the time being, there both gone. Bolton have got Sammy Lee as manager??? Quote

aaron Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 WTF thats a shock, didnt see that coming, wonder where he will end up. Maybe Big sam's assistant at the toon, but not likely. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 While I was watching Wigan celebrate having stayed up I had a feeling he was going to resign because he barely celebrated Quote
aaron Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 he celebrated abit, look at his face on this pic, you can just see releif writen all over it... Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Yeh I thought he looked genuinly delighted. I'd be a bit fucked off If I was a Wigan fan right now, Staves of relegation and then dumps them in the shit really. I cant see Wigan being Wigan without Paul Jewel, if that makes sense lol Quote
Romey 1878 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 It was afterwards when Whelan was holding Jewells arm aloft to the Wigan fans, he looked like he just wanted to get off the pitch Quote
aaron Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 ahhh. well i agree he is a prick, but no deniying hes done a decent job at wigan, bring them up is it 3 divisions in 3 seasons? and keeping them in top flight. Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Dave Whealen, now he grinds my gears!!! Theres just something about him that I dont like. Quote
Zed Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 That is suprising that, hes backed by the chairman, I guess the fans like him and he acheived the near impossibility of staying up on the final day away to your closest opposition Quote
Foxon Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 me and my mate was in the pub coz he had a free period and he got a text sayin that jewell has resigned and he didnt belive it at first he is a wigan fan and i live in wigan btw lol Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Some other teams gona have to addopt the chant "Who needs Mouriniho, We've got Paul Jewlio" Quote
GoldfishMemory Posted May 14, 2007 Author Report Posted May 14, 2007 Wigan have appointed assistant manager Chris Hutchings as their new manager. <<LINK>> A bit hasty considering he wasnt very good at Bradford?? Quote
TrueBlue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Bloody hell thats a turn out for the books, didn't think he'd step down. Thought he might have wanted another crack of the whip but oh well sure he has something already lined up. Quote
Nil Satis Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 He probably can't stand Dave Whelan for another season. Gets on my tits Whelan , bet he dosen't take action against Wesh Ham now Wigan are safe. Tit. Quote
thebluenose Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 thing is though this thing with west ham is all sour grapes. they all come out of the woodwork now west ham are safe. if they got relegated nothing would be done. anything for attention these people will do. Quote

Ocourse they wouldnt have done anything if they had gone down, thats the whole point. They wanted them RELEGATED, so if it woul have happened naturally then there would have been nothing to do. Quote
zequist Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 He probably can't stand Dave Whelan for another season.Gets on my tits Whelan , bet he dosen't take action against Wesh Ham now Wigan are safe. Tit. Then you would lose your bet. All four of them are still sounding a united front, and now they've apparently gotten Boro's backing for their cause too. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...113&cc=5901 Quote
TrueBlue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Aye, was gonna say that 'Boro are apparently going to be puttin a case forward and they are already safe. It's certainly dodgy but I'm sure nothing will happen, although it is unfair on the other teams imo. Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, Teves - Illegal signing, as in he shouldnt have played for the club as he was inelagable. How can Liverpool have sorted out the whole Masherano thing and yet because West Ham are involved in the dog fight then the bottom clubs decide to have a bitch cos its unfair, its unfair your team played shit! Get over it. I loved the fact that it was Tevez waging war on the premiership with his one man band, goal scoring machanics!! Quote
TrueBlue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 The FA must have realised that the Mascherano deal was dodgy as it took them ages to sort out, so surely they should have suspected the Tevez and dealt with it there and then. Teams have been deducted points for fielding ineligible players, West Ham also admitted it, so I think a mere 5.5 million fine is a cop out. The teams relegated are losing a hell of a lot of money, is it 30 million? So West Ham have actually got 25 million although they fielded an ineligible player. Now look at other teams who have done that, AFC Wimbledon were deducted 12 points, although it was eventually 3 and also Bury were thrown out of the FA cup for similiar wrong doings. Now how can that be fair? It seems one rule for the Premiership and another for the other leagues. Also don't forget one of the main reasons we stayed up a couple of years was because 'Boro were deducted points for not playing a game when, apparently, all the players were sick or injured. Think it's a complete joke to be honest that West Ham have got off to lightly as I don't see much happening with them now. Quote
zequist Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 I heard somewhere that when Liverpool took Mascherano they also bought out the third party that owned him at the same time. IF that's true (and it could be shite, but I don't know), then they wouldn't have been breaking any rules by playing him. AFC Wimbledon was originally deducted 18 points, BTW, a penalty that the FA said publicly was excessive when they reduced it to 3. However, Altrincham was also deducted 18 points for the same infraction last season (fielding an ineligible player) and the sanction against them was upheld on appeal, even though it would have left them relegated from the conference had outside circumstances not saved them. Just another example of politics and BS trumping fairness. West Ham and Wimbledon have political clout at their respective competition levels, Altrincham doesn't. Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 No, theres no way the FA can go back on there decision now, or every one whose had disputed dission over the last 12 months will kick up a stink. It doesnt seem fair to me, but theyve made there decision right or wrong. Quote
Louis Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 wrongful.. apparently there are two unnamed clubs also in favour of west ham going down. I hope one of them is us Quote
Romey 1878 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 wrongful.. apparently there are two unnamed clubs also in favour of west ham going down. I hope one of them is us We'll be wanting the 3 points from when they beat us 1-0, which will take us up to 5th Quote
Bill Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 Didnt Boro get docked points a few years ago and went down. ?? Thats probs why they are backing the other clubs. Quote
