They got £18 million off UNITED for Carrick, and will probs get another 10 million when they offload DEFOE or KEANE,

They also have a policy of buying very good youngsters. I think they see this year as the year to break into the Big 4, They have finished 5th for the last 2 seasons so they may be looking to move to the next level.

Tottenham have made a lot more than we do for one reason or another recently. Everton were just knocked out of the top 20 with a turnover of around 58m. It's a bit of a concern seeing the likes of Man City and West Ham in there:
