being a young man, im too young to remember most and ive never followed foreign football all the much as in my opinion its shit

 

however ajax 95 team was prity special...the team with van der sar reisgner, kanu etc? if i am thinkin of the right team that would be mine

Based only on what I've experienced Ajax in the early 70's. Lucky enough to see England play the legendary Dutch team at Wembley and as I recall that was largely the Ajax team. Best 0-0 I ever saw . (Bobby Charlton actually put the ball in the net but between it leaving his foot and hitting the net the ref blew for full time (probably Collinas dad ))

I would rank Sacchi's Milan and Lippi's Juventus sides in 2nd right behind the Ajax side of 95'-96'.

it wasn't Fontaine.it was Kopa.

Fontaine earlier?...Nah always got them 2 confused....Kopa went 2 Madrid then Fontaine replaced him @ the then powerfull Stade de Reimmes.

have to say ajax from the 70's.....but best team would be celtic of the 60's.....not one player was born further than 30 miles from glasgow.....an amazing feat. will never be done again.

went with ajax 95, superb football style. every player stayed in the same position all the time, wingers on the wing for example........mr.kilbane & mr.davies

Milan 89-90 such a great team free flowing football and they could kill a game off if only the 04-05 could have done the same we wouldnt be listening to the same crappy song from across the park every week.

The Milan side that contained the likes of Van Basten & Gullit played some awsome football.

 

Late edit:; PSS so did they Juventus side that had ,Rossi, Tardelli, Platini, Ziggy Boniek & co..Were strong for several seasons & ahd about 5 of italy's world cup winning team.

 

An excellent side that became much maligned due to an event well documented in this city's footballing history..
