Maybe the hospitals surgical instruments are supplied by a company in Tewkesbury so they can't get new supplies, and as they're all out of scalpels the surgeon has to operate using his Swiss Army knife and infection sets in so they have to amputate.....at the neck hopefully :axehead: .
