robin.jones
I have to say Faddy every season always flatters to decieve with 2 or 3 amazing cameo performances. Back in 2005 when beatts was on form faddy was also getting some good games under his belt. With our current small crop of fit stikers I think against blackburn faddy should get given his chance as a stiker along side AJ. I actually think with balls into faddys feet he could create a good few openings for AJ. I think we should give them atleast a couple of games together as I don't think Vic is up to a full first team action at the moment.
Romey 1878
Totally agree with mate, however I would probably play anyone ahead of Anichebe. Edited August 21, 2007 by Romey 1878
Bill
Think i'd have to agree with you there Bobby, think Victor will get better but he needs to be nursed into the prem gradually, But Manny might be available by then and DM might change things round a bit. BlueBri
Faddy definitley desrves his chance. Strikers are thin on the ground and experience is lacking. He has proven that he has immense abillity, now needs to show he can put the performances in regulalry. I remember when we bought him, a lot of clubs being very envious and he was tipped as a major talent in Scotland, if not THE major talent to come from Scotland for years. Come on Faddy, your time is now, or you'll fade into Mediocrity as per Cadamarteri and co.
CraccerC
if we sign manny...i'd go for the classic diamond, and id give ossie and fads a shot at the top of the diamond
robin.jones
Why would we change to diamond now. We have just had 2 good wins with a 442 and an unlucky result. I think put vic on the bench and bring faddy in I also think piernar should be give a go in the centre in place of either cars or nev. BlueBri
BobbyJ is tip top, and I would not put Faddy in anyway over AJ. Pienaar will be this seasons revelation. Moyes try before you buy seems to be the Midas touch. AJ will get us a hatful this season, just look at the service on offer this year. Faddy would do well sitting off AJ up front as a foil
robin.jones
Not sure what you mean Bri but i meant that Faddy should replace big Vic
CraccerC
because i think it's our long term plan, without a winger the diamond looks the best option, that's why we played that way pre season to see how it worked, and it worked quite well i thought, we created more
robin.jones
Well he isn't playing it now so lets stick to the two formation which work 442 and 451. I think when cahill comes back he may return to 451.
