RuffRob
http://advfn.oddschecker.com/advfn/mode/f/...550x/sid/803467 I think playing Portsmouth away this weekend is probabley the worst time to play them all season. A couple of weeks ago they didn't have a lot to shout about - Now they are fairly bussy in the transfer market with few bob behind them. Think the players will be looking forward to getting out on the pitch against us. Bad luck the timing of this fixture - I think a point would be a decent return now, all things considered. 1-1 Beattie for us.

Finn balor
Its gonna be tough but if we keep it 0-0 for the first 30 mins we will have a good chance. 2-1 Cahill and Beattie
scouse
Pompey sign Spurs trio Portsmouth have snapped up Tottenham trio Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis and Noe Pamarot. All three are in line to play against Everton at the weekend after Harry Redknapp's remarkable raid on White Hart Lane. Just our luck hey! RuffRob
Thats right, in two or three games time the 'high' of all the money and new players will have gone, and playing them would be fine. But we end up playing them away when all there player will be chomping at the bit to play and make a impact with the manager. A win against Portsmouth this weekend would be a very good result now. jared
with 5 new players for Pompey, they need some time to settle down with the play... So, 2-0 to the Toffees ..... with Cahill and BT netting.
LeeTino8
Yeah spot on too many new faces could be a bad thing for pompey !!!! still wouldnt mind 1 or 2 new signings here !!!!!!!

Adam
Think that we need to keep with a 442 for the game today. Going to a 451 is sitting back and trying to catch them on the break and think we play better this season going for it. Martyn, Hibbo, Yobo, Ferrari, Valente Arteta, Cahill, Neville, Kilbane Beattie, Ossie (If Ferg no fit) Bench, Wright, Weir, Mcfadden , Bent, Davies

Adam
Didn't know the team when I posted it however looks like DM is doing a 4-4-1-1 with Beattie up front and Cahill behind. I would have gone 442 and had Osman upfront with Beattie.
