Bent had lost it this season seemed very disinterested so 2.5 million is better than i ever thought we could get for him. After all, that is a clause that buying clubs use to keep down the basic/upfront fee. Would you have expected us to make a profit on Bent - I know I wouldn't have expected it. I thought that he had a good touch and stupid amount of pace - but he never really had the heart. I hope that a move resurrects his career for him (but not for us) £2.5m is a good bit of business by Moyes. Hopefully he will get his hands on all of the cash and it enables him to buy somebody else to replace Marcus. The downside to him moving is that we are another player short in our bare squad. Bent is an average premiership centre forward. ocassionally brilliant but more often than not falls short of the standard required.
