Epl Game In The States?

Recommended Posts

With the recent American sporting events being played in London recently (the NHL game about a month or so ago and the NFL game taking place tomorrow) people have started to think about holding an EPL game in the USA http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...914&cc=5901

as mentioned in the article, it would take a Home game away from one of the sides

but maybe some friendlies could be played over here, maybe the community shield or something of the sort

what do you guys think of all of it? (the american sporting events over there and the possibility of some english sporting events over here)

I don't want a Premiership game over there but I'm happy for the Charity Shield game to go over (providing money still goes to Charity that is).

Agreed, would be good to get the Americans involved as long as it's not a 'proper' competitive game.

Not sure money does go to 'charity' any more Louis hence the name change (Community Shield) but probably goes in the 'community' which I guess is the same thing (sorry just being pedantic  )
