Getting pretty much outplayed so far in the first 10 minutes against Santos. Santos already had a goal disallowed for offside and Santos are creating a lot of chances and corners.
Update: 30 mins played so far and it's an absolute miracle that it's still 0-0. Santos should have been 2-0/3-0 up by now but the finishing is not very good. The Santos right back and especially right winger and having a blinder so far. Great players.
Update: First sight of goal for Everton and Arlen Birch cuts in from the right but his left footed shot is straight into the belly of the Santos keeper.
Update: Santos take a 1-0 lead in the 40th minute. Very poor goal to conceed. Everton throw in and Augusto receives the ball and can dribble 30 metres towards goal with every Everton defender jumping out of the way.

Hmmm is it real how much
I'm really surprised by this move. Everton seem to have agreed a fee of around 8 to 10 million Euro's which is a bargain. He's had a few injury problems this year but he is pretty much unmissable for FC Twente. I can only guess that Everton have triggered an automatic release clause because he is worth a lot more.
He is very similar to Fellaini in all aspects. The only difference is that Fer is two footed and that Fellaini is a lot stronger in the air (especially at attacking headers).
A really really good signing for Everton. Fellaini can still play attacking midfield and Fer will add a lot of physical strength in central midfield.

Watched that one too, kind of hoped that was more of an "out takes" compilation! There was lots of huffing and puffing with little end product.
That said he looked strong and pretty quick and could possibly be polished into a gem.
Yeah...It was just a clip with his general style of play.

Most Feyenoord-fans don't have a lot of confidence in next season. The club have one striker, and he's 17 years old. So I doubt Feyenoord 'll sell one of their best players and fan favourites for only 4 million pounds.
On a positive note, Feyenoord are in a lot of financial worries so maybe they'll be forced to accept it.

We have one of the best youth academies in Europe and our team is full of top quality 17-21 year olds. But as you mentioned > we are broke as a muthafuc..king joke
I think you'll get him of you have 6 million pounds laying around somewehere. And if you sent us a Vaughan or Baxter on loan > much appreciated

Jono was one of Feyenoord's best youth players ever but hasnt delivered all of his great promise. The boy has got fantastic ability and with a free role just behind the striker you can get to see the best of him.
In his final youth season (at the age of 17) he scored around 25 goals from that position and was crowned U20 topscorer.
With Arteta at the club he will have a great role model to learn from and look up to.
His début for Holland U21 4/5 months ago : Scoring 2 goals and giving 1 assist..

Well thats what I thought but I heard he cancelled a move at the last minute to join Nac Breda on loan in January (he did came on trial though). He played every game for them since the end of January and he signed for Celtic today...

He Guys, Hatem Trabelsi was supposed to sign for Arsenal last week but he failed his medical there because his knee is in a bad state. I think he would love to play for Everton , but do Everton take the risk with his knee ?? He didnt seem to have any problems yesterday though against Spain....

Georgios Samaras is not allowed to leave Heerenveen. He had a courtcase today because he wanted to join Man City but the dutch court rejected his appeal so he will stay in Holland unless a club come up with the fee wanted by Heerenveen which is 12 million euro's = 8 million pounds.

Samaras will NOT join Everton. Tonight at 7:30 he will have a courtcase here in Holland against his club Heerenveen because they deny him an improvement of his position. He already has agreed terms with Man City and they have upped their bid to 8.5 million Euro's and Samaras probably wins the case because at the moment he earns 385.000 euro's at Heerenveen and Man City offer him 3.5 million per annum.

Guys, The new Maradona is Sergio Aguero from Independiente. The guy is only 18 years old and is world class. He will probably be taken to Germany as well by Argentina coach Jose Pekerman.
He costs a lot of money though. Independiente ask about 20/25 million euro's which is about 14/15 million pounds

Anyone else you could recomend from your native lands?
I know Everton was interested in Dirk Kuyt last summer. He would be class signing for Everton but he is pricey at 18 million euro's which is about 12 million pounds. But if you want some affordable players who would want to join Everton I would say Kenneth Perez from Az Alkmaar who is a player that plays just behind the striker or he comes from the left side of midfield to join the strikers. Denny Landzaat from Az Alkmaar is also pure class as a central midfielder, He can be aquired for about 4 million pounds because his contract expires in 2007. He is a regular for the Holland team as well. Joris Mathijsen (left footed Central defender) and Tim de Cler (left back) are also very good and also from AZ. Julian Jenner from Nac Breda is my last recommend. He plays on the right wing and has been a first team regular from the start of the season and is about 20 years old. Feyenoord and scum from amsterdam have already shown a interest in him , Very good prospect.

Evander Sno is vanaf morgen op proef bij Everton, meldt Rtv Rijnmond. De 18-jarige verdediger van Jong Feyenoord zal tot en met vrijdag meetrainen met de selectie van de Premiership-club uit Liverpool.
Sno kwam vorig seizoen over van de jeugd van ajax, waar hij met veel bombarie en onenigheid vertrok. Bij Feyenoord ontwikkelde hij zich goed en kreeg hij al snel een basisplaats bij Jong Feyenoord. Erwin Koeman liet Sno al enkele keren met de eerste selectie meetrainen.

I can give you some info about him cause im from Holland. Georgios is a decent player who is a good dribbler with the ball and he has got some pace on him but I think that 6.5 Million Pounds is way too much for him. Maybe Heerenveen is a bit angry because they've lost Huntelaar as well to the scum for the same price and he is a proper goalscorer. Samaras has been playing on the left wing for Heerenveen because Huntelaar was first choice as a striker. Samaras has got potential but he misses a lot of chances as well. I think he should be worth 3.5 million pounds. You better let him go to Man.City for the price Heerenveen is asking.
I also saw someone mention he could be a replacement of Duncan Ferguson but Samaras is definately not a target man. He is more a counter-attacking player who get behind the opposition defence with pace and his dribbling skills. Samaras is also not a very good header of the ball

He's an attacking midfielder (number 10) who roams the pitch a lot. Cracking player who's very creative and a true inspiration in a dire FC Twente. I think he's either assisted or scored 55% of their goals or something in the last 2 seasons (30 goals and 27 assists). He's arguably been the best player in the Eredivisie as well in the past 2 seasons. I think he should cost about 10 million Euro's.
