  1. I cant see Yakubu and Anechebe working tbh. Yes they could out power defenders but I consider them to be great hold up players so if we pack the middfield to play off the front, thats why I'd go with just Yakubu and hope we can get a goal from midfield. I think Yakubu owes us a proper display and maybe he might fire himself up for a PROPER derby??

  2. Again I was impressed with Pienaar. Good little player we've got there. We were dyer to watch in the first half but I mean in all fairness their a hard team to beat at home?! We were a lot better second half and i hope I'm not on my own in saying that I enjoyed Neville's game, he put himself about a lot and he actually showed some attack!! I was disappointed in Anachebe and like someone else has pointed out, he is not ready to start yet. Brought Yakubu on waaaay to late for my liking, should have been brought on to make a difference. Pineaar, Arteta and Yakubu I just think gel well, If they can start forming a good little triangle I think we'll tear defenses apart! Not our day yesterday, poor defending let us down but it's over now so lets look onwards an upwards??

  3. Theres no way Yak is giving us 100% but to be fair I'm not him so I don't know the reasoning behind it, he might just be having a hard time settling in, or he might just be lazy lol. Either way I think its too early to turn on the guy after all he's a blue now so we should support him or he'll end up moving to Sheff United and becoming the Championship top goal scorer which is what a certain individual predicted, sorry went off a bit there lol!!

We wernt great last night but the way I see it is If we can go away in a European game, play poorly and still overcome a deficit that says something about our team/manager doesn't it??

  4. I'm not denying he's looked out of touch AS YET, but is there any cause to slate the fella already? Beattie played 32 times last year and had 2 goals, both penalties. He's got 2 goals from them 7 appearances and the goals themselves show a true goal scorer to me?? I just want to give him time to develop. Going from personnel experience moving to a different part of the country and settling into work that wasn't so much new to me but different was a real challenge, now I'm in my second year and have grasped things pretty damn well, now i'm not suggestion it'll take that long for him but can we for a change just get behind a player??

  5. Sorry Zed i never ment to imply different :D Im only 20 though, apparently it gets better when you hit 25 woohoo! Cant believe yours is that expensive, must be like Mike said and its down to no claims?? Still there makin a killin at it though, after a couple of years ill have payed more in insurance than i will have for the car!!!! Surly thats not right?

  6. Well I guess that would make sense then. Not sure Im a fan of the whole "take them for the experince" crack. I mean England seemingly took Theo Walcott to the world cup for the experience and a shit load of good that did him and us!!! I guess its a very different situation but my point still stands!

  7. As long as the result is an Everton win I dont care how we do it. If its a last gasp winner from a "suspiscious" desicion then all the better!! I think this one has surely gota be for us, the fans, who every year end up resorting to "ah well theres always next time" I dont want a next time I want to take this Ukranian outfit to the cleaners!!! COYB lets have a tasty win.

    Sorry, rant over now lol!

I'm fancyin a 1-0 win to us, courtesy of your faourite centre half and mine, Joleon Lescott. I'd love to see the Yak get a goal but if i back the Yak he wont wont score. Feed the Yak and he will score!!

  8. When at Ajax. Van Der Meyde was on the left wing and Pienaar was usually was the support man with someone on the other wing (Victor Sikora - I think). They also played with Van Der Vaart who I wouldn't say no to... that's signing for Everton - not anything else!

I wouldnt say no either, for the club people, for the club!!!

  9. I didnt know they played at Ajax together, thats rather intrigued my Louis. Sounds good to me though, its all up to VDM though, wether he can FINALLY live up to potentiel!! I supose when Timmy comes bak he would just slot in an almost Forward type role?? Take out one of the front men. Infact Id rather have Mc Fadden dropin off playin in that role, think he cud do an excelent job for us, perhaps like a missin link between midfield n upfront???

  10. I think Moyes summed it up pretty well for me, "there was bits I liked, there was bits I didnt"

Not a great game, nearly gifted them a few goals, but for me when we passed it around it was a joy to watch. Hibbert was fantastic yesturday, very much waranted his place. For me Nevile and Jagielka were very dissapointing in the centre. Maybe Jags improved abit in the second half but I cant understand why Phil Neville turns up if he's gona play centre mid. I thought it would have been worth puttin Mikey in the middle and bringin on VDM to run the wing abit but I'm happy enough with the result, the performence WILL come!!
