  1. I think the majority of penalties we get will be won by A.J so why not let him have 'em

based on last season AJ won't win a single penalty because of his reputation as a diver. I have seen every home game and every penalty Aj has won at selhurst and he hasn't dived for one of them. All started because Bruce was upset Aj was so good and tore the scum apart and won two penalties, sore loser claims Aj dived. Ever since then Aj hasn't been awarded penalties. Hopefully now he is back in the premiership there are top referee's who dont award penalties based on stereotypes.

AJ will score them if he takes them, but you have half a squad capable of hitting a penalty.

  2. Loyalty is a rare quality among good football players and its definately one of the most important in a club building towards the future. If Johnson can live up to expectations and fill striking problem we've had since 87 then it might be the start of something special. I haven't felt this optimistic for long time.

Aj is a quality player and will bang in goals for Everton, you are a big club and one that should be competeing for a UEFA cup place. He will score many goals for you, look at his recored with Palace. He scored 21 goals by himself in a side that was relegated. Put him with beatie and its a mouthwatering prospect. Good time to be an Everton fan.

But palace are better Peter Taylor is taking us up, and we will buy back Aj :P

  3. I'm a die-hard palace fan, basically i signed up to tell you how lucky you are to have aj, and to wish you luck next season. I will be closely watching Everton next year and will be on this board a lot during the season. Every fan on this board so far to be abolute brilliant people and it looks like aj has chosen a great club to go to.

so a big hello from a new Everton follower

  4. When you compare the price of AJ wth the guy that chelsea have just signed, £30MILL, it puts things in perspective.

top class players dont come cheap. its as simple as that. youve gotta pay what everyone else is prepared to pay, your not gonna get any special treatment.

so these guys arent over-priced theyre market priced. and theres not much you can do about it.

Aj is NOT overpriced, a 20-30 goal striker in the premiership should cost £20-30m.

maybe im biased seeing as the guys a legend, but playing for us in a struggling team with no service from midfield, single-handly nearly kept us up with 21 goals. Top English goalscorer that year, also got some assists that year aswell. With the service you guys have at Everton, arteta is a special player, you will make him chances and he will put them away.

  5. Another palace fan here, imagine a lot have joined now, Johnson is a huge hero of mine, i am so sad he has left, but am glad for him he chose Everton. Choosing Bolton or Wigan would have been a huge msitake, and you have made some brilliant signings in Howard and Aj, huth maybe to follow.

Aj is a very hard-working, loyal, dedicated, proffesional, determined, goalscorer and im dreading going to Selhurst next season and not hearing Aj name on the team sheet. Im sure Aj can fire you into a champions league place this year, and along with beatie and the service from midfield, he will bag 30+ goals with his eyes closed.

I wish Aj and Everton the best of luck next season, and i will be watching closely and hoping you do well, and hopefully we will play you in 2 years time and can meet aj again.

best of luck aj i love you to bits
