  1. a son in the kitchen watching his mother preparing his lunch says , " hey mum , why have I got the biggest dick in the nursery, is it 'cos I'm a scouser ? " " no " said his mum , " It's because your a fucking 26 year old retard and don't spill spaghetti on your Liverpool shirt , Steven ! "

  2. Barton will not be ar Everton next season , he's seen as too much of a bad dressing room influence by Moyes , Baines would be a great addition , as would Nogent , and Fernandes is a must !

Howard Hibbert yobo Lescott Baines ..... Arteta Neville Fernandes Cahill ..... AJ Nugent ,

The midfield are pretty versatile and don't neccesarily have to play in this formation , Ideally an out and out left winger could be signed but Baines does get forward effectively , A lot of you seem to have ignored Tony Hibbert , but he's had a bad season with illness and injury and except for saturday's cock up is a good right back

  3. yobo is a great defender, he has made some mistakes but im sure i could name alot of players that have 2.. with him and lescott in the back we are strong we just need a good left back

Joey Yobo is prone to the odd mistake but have you noticed that he makes fewer when Alan Stubbs is alongside him , ? Stubbsy is always down his ear , making sure he does get shut of the ball , and " yobocops " pace can cover for Stubbsy , I think that's why our defence has been outstanding this season , most goals to have beaten us have been long range potential ' goals of the season ' eg Taylor , portsmouth ... drohba lampard .. chelski , jenas ...spurs , ... yeah our defence will be even better next season , so with decent signings , a bit of luck with injuries and proper refs , who knows ?

  4. I really hope you're right, he's exactly the kind of balance we need to bring into a grafting midfield but I can't see it. Johnson Lescott and Howard were all bought on the back of this seasons TV windfall and as we all know Kenright hasn't got any money to invest. With the interest in our debs and cash being earmarked for the new stadium I don't think we'll be seeing AJ's transfer record being broken this year or next.

If David Moyes thinks that he is value for the money he has to pay for him , then the fee for Fernandes will be found , another thing to consider though , is that Everton have had a representative at the last SIX Preston games at least , does that look like a bid for Nugent as well ?

  5. For me Manny is a must signing , then securing the future of AJ , TC , MIkel , joleon , and making sure no one comes sniffing around Vaughany and Victor , then start thinking about new signings , nugent ? , luke young ? sidwell ? , and maybe a quick wide player , no chance of aaron lennon but someone similar

  6. Almost every pub with a telly should have it on, if not I would suggest this......

As long as you have half decent firewall and anti-virus programmes installed you should not have any problems, I have watched a lot of games using this and normallyy use tvants with no problems, load it all up about 15 minutes before kick off.

For anyone who's interested .. the Copplehouse in Fazakerley has some arabic tv channel and all Everton or RS premiership games are on , if there's a clash then the away match gets preference , the commentary is in english , there's a large screen and 4 other screen dotted around the bar , if it gets too busy , John , the boss will open the other room where there's another big screen , generally a good laugh with lots of banter (good natured)

  7. no way. its gotta be either white or yellow like they usually there. apparently they say its a new sponser for next season. whats the likelyhood its tesco

The big rumour about the new sponsors is Royal Bank of Scotland ..... Tesco's bankers , deal brokered by Terry leahy , tesco's evertonian boss , with the deal involving interest free loans ? I'm sure i've read something about this on here as well ?

  8. Blueboy, LOL yes my firend U have missed the boat :) Tongue firmly in cheek.

As you see the Irony is....ermm well recent history would suggest, That Shandy Meyde, has already had his House robbed, His Dog Stolen, some medals snatched, his Ferrari smashed up & is missing a few expensive watches. Not to mention someone stole his brain.

Either that or Im NostraPattus & know this is about 2 happen ;)

    I draw the line @ his kid's pony's -> However despo 4 Glue I maybe.

So have I got to give back these cans of stella (empty) and this spare lap dancer he had hanging around ??

  9. I don't really fancy going over to Italy at the moment anyway until they get their loony fans and even loonier coppers sorted out ... I'm too old to have to look over my shoulder just to get into the ground and dodge the baton wielding madmen who are their upright custodians of the law , give me a Millwall away match anyday ...........!!

  10. Greetings!

As you can tell from my board name I am an American, living the Washington DC area. I've been following Everton since 2004. At the time I was creating a character for a short story who was from Liverpool, and I decided to make her an Everton supporter. So, not knowing much about them, I started researching the history of the team and watching some of their games when they came on TV over here...next thing you know I was hooked! Life imitating art is not always a bad thing, I guess. :) I found this board several months ago, and finally decided it was time to sign up. I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute except when I can catch a game on TV (like Friday's thrashing of Fulham, which I thoroughly enjoyed), but I shall do my best!

Great to hear from somebody from foreign shores supporting our team .... as you may well know Everton supporters are chosen , they don't just choose to be a fan of the greatest club in the world ... welcome to the "people's club ' JD

  11. Fulham did cause us a few problems but I thought that we beat them only playing in second gear ... , don't forget Vaughany hit the post , AJ had a free header from 6 yards as did Arteta , and nieme pulled off a couple of good saves as well , and I still got the impression we could have turned the heat up a bit more if we needed to , Good entertaining game ... great result

  12. There's a large dose of gloating in that piece saying he hasn't lived up to the hype but it hasn't been backed up with accurate facts. The Mancs didnt buy the best player on the planet, they bought a player with the potential to be. Nothing has changed in that regard, he's had some outstanding performances and some not so great. It happens to every player, Ronaldinho went missing when the shite knocked them out of the CL, shevchenko at chelsea or Ronaldo at the last World Cup, all previous holders of European player of the Year. Rooney's still one of the most exciting players in the world to watch and he's England's best hope of lifting a trophy (however small that may be) and he's only 22.

I understand what you're saying Bluetrip but I think the gist of the article is that if rooney had stayed at Everton he would have developed into a better player than he is now , he's doing ok at utd but he's not exactly the greatest player they have on their books , and certainly no where near being the euro player of the year ,. think about it , we all thought he would , at Everton , utd or anywhere he would have gone to , Gazza and George Best probably weren't the player he was at 16 , but at 22 ? give me either of those 2 anytime .
