my birthday is tommorow, so hopefully itll be a lucky day for me and Everton.
-
he played right back for some of the game against everton last season and if I remember right he assisted and then scored a header
-
sharon stone?
-
I reckon 2nd after chelski
-
He wanted to join everton last summer but couldnt force a way through, I remember that van der vaart was going to accept 50k a week from us but the deal collapsed. So it could happen it just depends on how much he is worth now after a season with madrid.
-
I see it going to a new midfielder
-
3 million is a bargain when I sawy this thread I thought no way, because he seemed like a 7mil+ and for 29 yrs old its too much. But for 3 mil Id bite their hands off especially in his clubs situation.
-
Would love Dos Santos, he played quality for barca and if we could get a move on the cheap he could also be the most improved player from last season
-
Would love to see cana in the shirt of the toffees, for 7 million it is a good price. Also dont forget we are about 6 hours behind everyone in europe, now being in america and we may have an edge with that being like it is.

Just two quotes from the website
Football clubs arent being maximised as brands and this consortium want to keep fans at the club after the game, offering them restaurants and a football village to spend their money in its about making an entire match day experience.Nathaniel revealed details about his clients strategy to increase his purchased clubs leisure and marketing revenues,
Excited by the prospect of this
Its about purchasing a club as a viable business proposition. Its not about owning a trophy, its a sound business venture. Not excited about this
To be honest I would love the Idea of whenever you go to the ground you can spend a bit of time in the supposed football village and have a look round at evertons history/whatever else. I dont like the fact that their saying they only want a buisness venture, and saying they dont want us to be a team that wins any trophies. I mean I want an owner that can afford to bring us ot of debt but come on you want to see your team win something.

Another stats link, TBH I dont think he is great but he certainly looks improved over the past 2 seasons. For 1.7 m euros it is a great sum and I reckon that it may turn out to be a good buy if moyes can grab him early and train him well for the upcoming season.

cana flies in yes, but very rarely if you watch french football as often as I do then you will see how often he flies in and how often he makes great tackles. Cana flies into tackles when his team are losing, he gets the crowd going and starts to show the team his passion, somehow the team then starts to get back into the game. Watch some matches where marseille are losing and youll see how often cana makes a tackle that raises the crowd and how often they come back to win.
It may seem stupid but that is what we are lacking sometimes, I mean when neville made that tackle on ronaldo last season, he flied in and that got the fans fired up and on the teams side which raised the teams performance in the match. That is why we need cana he can be that inspiration towards the fans and team.
-
i really don't understand why everyone gets excited about cana...they see a few strong challenges on youtube, honestly he isn't that good.
So a defensive midfielder(his main position) who is a great tackler, passer, and goal scorer (17 goals in 124 apps) isn't good and what we have been lacking since the reasonably good days of lee carsley.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2009/07/14/everton-manager-david-moyes-has-115875-21518406/
Not much known about him, I think he plays everywhere in midfield and also is a good passer his goalscoring record isnt great but if we need someone to come off the bench and make an impact this guy could be it. He is 25 so still has some good years ahead of him.
For 3 mil is may seem a small amount of money but I reckon this may be too much I think 1.5 mil would be the highest offer for this guy, then again if moyes and kenwright see him as 3 mil then by all means go for it.

how did our two newest full signings do, peterlin and mustafi. Didnt get the time to listen to it unfortunately

First since when is monkey spunk black, adding to that you are basically saying he is crap but you know and all everton fans know he gave us vital goals last season that helped the performance of the team and if it wasnt for him youd be complaining more about transfers.
Also we are everton, if you support the club you need to have patience. Moyes has made youth signings which shows he is improving squads and he is involved in transfer activities.
Finally, if you followed everton much you would know that moyes has just recently been focusing on club facilities and he has also been on a holiday, he said signings would be done very quickly at the start of the window. He needs time to do this. At least two weeks is when I see signings coming in.
-
He is back from his hols, he opened everton two today with yak and sharpy. I reckon he is busy towards bringing in signings and other stuff but moyes doesnt speak out much about signings as you all should know.
-
I have to say I like it too
-
the dadline for squad numbers is between 31st july and 05th august
but im holding out to see if any transfers happen after those dates
-
maybe, it didnt look like we had around 11 million to spend when we signed yakubu, one thing Ive learnt though is to not count anything out.
Also, not saying this is going to happen but if that proposed peter reid takeover occurs we may get a large bit of money to spend
-
ok well maybe that might be a bit of a hard sell, but what about a straight 15 mil
-
The suggestion was fine that bojan will be quality - the suggestion of using vic and jv as bait suggests you're off your tits!
Ok maybe I am but c'mon, Vaughan and anichebe have hardly done anything these past years in first team matches. A couple of goals here and there against low quality teams in the uefa cup proves nothing.
I mean they should be quality and I like them both, but would you rather trade both of them and a small amount of cash for someone who has a great goalscoring rate, and plays well against high quality european teams.
