The reason is that the players don't even bare comparison. By this time in Owen's career he was already a household name, pretty much around the world, Molyneux is barely known around Goodison! It is ludicrous to think that we should hold onto every single player that comes through the youth ranks becasue Micheal Owen also came through the youth ranks of another team. Oh wait, every single player ever came through the ranks at some point!

 

You really come out with some shit sometimes. If he is good enough to play for us then he would be playing for us. Its not about age but talent. Personaly I can't see the lad making the cut here and I would have no problem with him leaving. He's looked ok at reserve level, never spectacular, but reserve level football is a complee different ball game than top-flight. If he was good enough and shining at reserve's then he would be at least making appearances on the bench, or championsip sides would be clammouring for his loan signing. But he isn't, and there not. Thats why I don't think he'll be any good? Why do you think he will be any good? Did you play against him while on trial at Lazio and he stopped you scoring a hattrick unlike that other chump that you pissed on from a great height.... i look forward to your next farcical post.

He's been with us for a few years now so I would not be too dissapointed if we let him go. I think that he would do well at Celtic even though he would only be a squad player there. I think that a loan spell would be better but then when he returned he would be baggage like he is now.

 

Agree with Mark. He's never going to be a first team player at Goodison so we might aswell let him go.
