  1. because without Kirkby there is no back-up, do you really think an investor wants to come in and get involved with feasibility studies etc, angering fans, paying mega millions to fund a new stadium? With Kirkby in place they get a cheap stadium, they can't be blamed for the location and they can just get on with financing the team and running it as a business. They don't want to get involved with the messy stuff, they're not fans they're businessmen. Why would someone want to take over us now, anyone can see Goodison is becoming a shambles and we need a new stadium, but without Kirkby who knows how long it'll be before we get one.

Sorry, but are you Ian Ross or summat?

After KD the same questions were asked of BK.

A business investment has to be viable, and if you were buying a house would you be happy with next door saying they had free use of that house for 100 times a year, or you had to pay for the development of the train station down the road.

Kirkby doesn't make it more attractive to invest. It gets bluebill more moolah but not at a viable return for investment.

Don't forget you said cheap stadium and a good businessman knows that a lot of revenue could be had from a stadium in the right location, try 10 minutes walk from the city centre

  2. you seem to quote these rumors with a big fat smile on your face louise......

If our club falls on its arse ill blame people like you..............

because that';s the right thing to do? because it's his fault? and that it has nothing to do with mismanagement of the highest order by the departed CEO, board etc?

what's next, you shouting it was the Warriors that shot Sirus??

    be more apt

  3. With each statement or soundbite coming from the club making these sorts of noises the bargaining position goes to the selling club, pushing prices up further.

Moyes has gone from 'would like' 5 or 6 new players to 'need' 5 or 6 new players, quite quickly.

Not a good sign. There's a lot of weight to the Green wanting out story, he is pissed off because his name was thrown into the fatpants leaving story by the bbc, he has only ever wanted to be in the shadows at everton, no more.

  4. DM, what you have to consider is this current climate won't allow or generate 100% loans/mortgages using collateral, there has to be a deposit or contribution from the loanee. That is what wyness wanted, surplus monies to secure more finances towards kirkby. Moyes wanted the money for players.

The debts incurred at the moment would double in kirkby.

  5. Think it's kirkby. Fatpants would have hung around even to just gloat if it was going ahead, think he got wind it was being called in and jumped before he was pushed.

Time will tell, but from now on it should be about the club moving forward and not about fatpants construction company!
