  1. Unless you are suggesting that Gerrard is gay I do not see the connection

I think the connection Jimmy is that they are both extremely distasteful chants - one of the chants many Everton supporters seem to totally condone and the other about Campbell you are struggling to come to terms with??? Possible case of double standards.

  2. I can't see them ever implementing anything like this. I found it interesting that of the £3b debts over 1 third of that figure is Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool

Considerably more than a third - United's debt is over £700m and Liverpool's is over £300 and gawd know what the chav's owe but it is a lot! And if the Indian (lost track) buys Everton he no doubt will do the same. Just look what Hicks and Gillette and will make if they have problems refinancing and have to sell.Ok not as much as a few weeks ago but still well in excess of £20m each for signing a few bits of paper but not actually investing one cent of their own money. Look at the crook City jumped into bed with - he made £50m so rumour has it and it is also suggested that that absolute most he invested was £20m but nothing is a more likely figure!

The authorities will never stop clubs that are in debt competing or the eleven times champions Real Madrid would never been seen in the competition ever again!

  3. Should that have been a penalty in the first half????

it may well have changed the whole game. Stupid by Skrtel, just think Riley didnt have the nuts to give it.

Moaning about penalties not given in Derby matches is getting tedious - ffs the Yak wasn't actually trying to make it easy for the ref. With so much cheating going on refs are becoming more and more reluctant to give penalties!

Everton had no shots on goal in the whole game! That does not win football matches. In the Lescott-Carragher match Everton had one shot on goal.

  4. Only saw the first.....maybe I was lucky!

Luckypool (didn't really need to be lucky today!) probably can't believe their luck today, facing an Everton team so low on confidence and looking like a clean sheet and a draw would be a great result.

And so we move on to the next game, then the next and so on, untill it just clicks.Could be Thursday or against Newcastle or even beyond that!!....

Would rather lose today and win Thursday, if given the choice.

Thought Yak looked like he needs to put more pressure on their defenders.....and keep on your friggin feet!....you can do more damage their than on your arse.

Still a lot to come from Fellaini.....and Cahill, and erm Lescott.....and well all of them actually

Balloon release today for young Ryh's.......would have been his 13'th birthday!!.......Football more important than life and death!!............Never!

Get over it Blues, Thursdays another day.

Blue250 - I think it was you who suggested last season that you would rather see the club build slowly with dignity than chase a fat American cheque book! I THINK IT IS TIME FOR THE CHEQUED BOOK OR EVERTON ARE FKD! Moyes average spend over the last five years is more than Wenger's. Is he really doing the great job that everybody suggests he is - I am not convinced and is Felleini worth £15m???

  5. Is it just me or are more and more English people becoming totally fed up with our so called team of failing football super stars. It has got to the point where I expect us to ponce about against Croatia, huff puff and lose it has happened so many times. I find it hard to accept that we cannot have a Brit managing a team, its is really sad when some foreigner gives team chats and you cannot understand them. Could it be that we have players who are multi millionaires but never ever deliver the goods on the park.

Having watched the game on Saturday can anyone tell me why Rooney, Downing, Lampard and others get so much given to them yet they let the country down badly every time they don the three lions. It comes to something when half of them fail to sing the national anthem, most sides sing with Gusto out lot can't even hum the music. Possibly this is the basis of for the apathy that seems to pervade everything to do with out international football. At the Olympics every athlete, swimmer, cyclist, boxer waved the flag with pride and sung the anthem with joy, bloody footballers could do with a lesson in what it feels like to be humble and normal, if the don't the money bubble will burst in their faces before they know it.

What do you think, especially if you are not English, tell us how it is

Ffs Jimmy your on a role, what with this crap and your Dear S L letter!!! Suggest you either write to Kenwrong or slag off Everton - you never know it might just work :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

  6. What was the point in selling Johnson to bring in an injury prone part timer. Vaughan and Annichebe are better than this.

There are about 10.5 million reasons! Given that they have both seen far better days and no longer score many goals it doesn't look like bad business! More money for the bank by the look of it! I think the signing was more about creditability and desperation than anything else?

  7. On SSN. Shock signing!

Was great at Fulham, just never got enough games at United

Correction - he was great for Fulham in the Championship and only had one good season for them in the Prem. Now he is too slow too old and too injury prone - just hope he didn't cost much - don't think he is the answer?
