Went for Baines. Only player to produce any type of attacking threat throughout the game. It wasn't enough though.
It's true, nice goal. But honestly can we make a 'donkey vote' were no players can get man of the match ? Absolute shit game by everyone involved. As soon as I saw Jacobsen on that pitch I knew it was going to be a long day

we bought him from down under? Since when has Millwall been down under? Learn your geography and history.
LOL my mistake !
Australia is typically referred to as 'down under' but the fact that he was bought from Millwall kind of slipped my mind. Yeah i think I'm going to have to agree ill just jump up and down on the spot every time he plays well and that will be enough.

Most of them like us and would deffo take Cahill, Arteta, and Lescott, almost all of them would like Moyes as their manager, and think we do very well without Massive Funds.
Until we are bought out by a massive Arab tycoon !

The family were all reds, and although I 'followed' that scum at a young age. The depature of Rooney and complete and utter passion (or hate?) that I was exposed to drew me to the mighty blues. Oh and my man crush on Tim Cahill may have a large factor LOL !

This has hardly been brought up but I think now based on his form needs attention, Tim Cahill needs a catchy song that will have opposition supporters humming along too.
Sure we turned Torres' song and made our own Yakubu chant but we need to come up with something original but catchy at the same time.
Being the most non musical type you can find, i can't think of anything remotely catching or worth posting. I was wondering whether the faithful have been coming up with anything worth singing along to ?

Very disappointing, it's now in the Echo - although they say some of it has been sensationalised. I think Anichebe's game has really come on this season, his touch isn't bad at all, he's good in the air, strong, pace etc etc he has all the attributes. Against Villa and the leage match against Liverpool he was awesome but then whenever he does start to put himself about he seems to pick up a knock and then he's injured or the next match he seems a little tentative as if he doesn't want to take a knock again. As far as I was aware he got injured during the Villa match which kept him out for a bit so I don't really know how he could've played much more since Yak got injured, that being said, I can understand his frustration that the likes of Saha and Yakubu (both had done little this season) were playing all the time ahead of him and now that they're injured Moyes is playing a midfielder ahead of him, it must damage his confidence a bit and make him start to get a little frustrated, then Moyes brings Jo in - Anichebe snaps. That being said, this isn't the way to go about proving he is good enough to play week in week out and Moyes must be fuming. The one thing that lets Anichebe down is his mentality.
The papers seem to think this is a massive blow for the game tonight, I think it may be the opposite - we all know how Everton perform in adversity and Cahill may just go out tonight and show Anichebe why he's getting picked ahead of him. The players will pull together, they always do. COYB!
One can only hope that this is the kick in the ass that Anichebe needs. Seeing Jo signed should motivate him to work twice as hard and try create a dangerous tandem with Jo, both large boys would create huge match up problems in the air, and along with the flying fro and Cahill's nack to be in the right place at the right time. Pinaeer & Arteta can send the ball long and high for them to cause havock.
Again I agree, I too hope that Cahill comes out all guns blazing again tonight and shatter another 'title' aspiration of Liverpool

Read from a few news outlets, that Anichebe told Moyes to f**** off after the deal with Hull City fell through.Unhappy with his game time especially after the injuries we have faced Anichebe apparently went to training all guns blazing. I hope this is just the media trying to make bullshit out of nothing, because the young lad seemed to be hitting some form.
Thoughts ? Do you think it's fake or ?
