Everton to play Philadelphia Union July 20 at PPL Park

This is the news I've been hoping for! My first ever Everton game and for it to be against the Union where I have season tickets will be awesome! So pumped right now.

Our boys in blue better watch out the Union took down Celtic 1-0 at PPL last summer and played well against United 0-1 in similar friendlies

To be fair, I was at the Manchester United/Union game and they were subbing players in-and-out quite a bit of the time. This year, we should be much improved, though. And dweagle6 - check your PMs - we couldn't get season tickets this year

  2. Morning folks! I'm going to make another prediction of a low scoring game (despite how poorly that worked last week) and guess 1-0 to us with Becks /not/ hitting the bar this time.

So, here's where I call my past self an idiot  Come on you Blues! :D

  4. I'm feeling this one could be scrappy and not particularly great for either team - I don't think Birmingham will necessarily be that great away, and we should (must?) win it, which means 0-0 or the deciding goal coming down to an own goal (for either side).

  5. Somewhat glad to see that Cahill will be rested -- we need him back to top form soon -- but Fellaini will be a big miss today

re: Beckford--one would expect that players would arrive early enough to avoid this sort of thing!

  6. Predicting 3-1: Adam to score for them, Saha, Beckford, Fellaini for us. Normally I would have agreed that they play well, but their last game against West Ham  was a bit of a shambles.

  7. I'm happy with goals in extra time, so long as they are winning goals!

    Fair point! No arguments there.

So much depends upon which team shows up. I'd hardly expect a clean sheet from either side, but we've been struggling this year in 'getting more goals in' contests.

@Romey1878 - sporting the third shirt here as well.
