  1. I seriously wouldnt worry. I am sure he has signed but like I said yesterday I believe Rangers have asked for it not be announced until late because they cant afford to bring anyone in and want to roll out the old "We tried but wasnt enough time".

Means they dont need to fork out cash. Major news breaking up here about Rangers going bust by end of the week or else I really expected them to maybe have the deal sweetened with a yound player going to Ibrox on loan because they are massively short on players. With that not happening and the fact they have accepted a bid well below what they said they would accept I have no doubt Rangers are screwed and Jelavic has been told to go

  2. The deal may very well be done but I dont expect it to be announched until late on tomorrow.

Rangers have no cash & a good few players injured. The fans will explode if Jelavic goes and no decent replacement arrives because they are just left with David Healy who isnt exactly prolific. Some tend to think that Rangers will announce the sale right near the end of the window and then say they didnt have time to bring anybody back in trying to appease the fans

  3. He is better than average but certainly not amazing. A dangerous player who can play upfront himself but tends to play better with someone alongside him. Has a decent goal ratio but he does take all the penalties which account for a fair few. Last season he was very dangerous but this year he has looked in a huff and maybe not been as prolific as before.

I still think for a proven goalscorer, International with European football experiance that if the deal is £3.5 and the rest add ons then that is a steal considering most Rangers fans are expecting 8-10m even though they are slightly biased

  4. Just saw this on twitter, sorry if already posted - not sure who the agent is who tweets but he seems bang on with most stuff

    AgentScotland

Everton have had a £6m bid for Nikica Jelavic accepted, £3.5m up front with the rest in installments (could rise to £7.5m on future success)

    (Just taken from rangers forum)

  5. See alot of Jelavic up here. Good player but not on great form this season. Signed for 4m from Vienna after taking the huff and dug his heels in to get the transfer to Ibrox. I go on the rangers forum FollowFollow & its great for upto date news.

Missed last game with "sickness" but everyone knows hes gonna leave before tuesday. West Ham supposedly bid £7m but it was actually meant to be £5m with piquionne added in which was rejected by Rangers. With the £50m tax case ruling expected soon Rangers really are in dire needs so nearer it gets to Tuesday I can see the price dropping. Rangers fans are expecting 7-10 million for him but I would imagine he could get picked up for under £6m

Good targetman with good skills. Good age aswell so would reckon he could improve over time.

All in all I really would reckon a decent buy if can get cheap.

Heres the link for the followfollow thread http://forum.followfollow.com/showthread.php?t=833822

  6. At Rangers he was amazing before he left for Spurs. Would take on and beat everyone down the right hand side. Thought he would do really well at Spurs but somehow didnt quiet make it. Since then he came back from his injury overweight and lost all knowledge of how to be a football player.

On a side note he was a customer of mine at the bank I worked in and was a complete waste of space

  7. Always hard to score playing the lone striker with no one supporting.

The lad Jelevic at Rangers looks a promising talent and does tend to play upfront himself but I know the gulf between SPl and EPL is massive but he is a full international and will get better plus the cash problems Rangers have this now they cannot knock back a decent offer

Im not 100% sure of what budget Moyles will have but some possible decent prospects out there. Rhodes at Huddersfield & Cox at WBA. Certainly not the type of player who you could imagine lighting the fans up with excitement but possibly cheaper options and driven enough to make an impact

  8. Cheers.

My mum knows the physios at kilmarnock FC and I remember a few seasons ago she got a killie shirt and a celtic shirt to get signed by the players when they played each other. The killie boys signed it easy but Celtic didnt allow the players to sign it as the sponsor had changed on the strip from carling to Tennants. not sure if thats a rule all clubs follow but the everton strip I got was from McFaddens first year so the sponsor and the make are different. Worried if I sent it they wouldnt sign it and then somehow never get it back but hey ho.

  9. Like I mentioned in my intro topic I am a massive fan of Mcfadden. I would love him to sign a top for me so bought an older everton top on ebay with 24 mcfaddedn on it. What is the best way to possibly meet him and get it signed?

I was thinking of finding out where they train and see if its possible to go down one day and maybe catch them on the way out and get it signed? Does anyone know if thats possible?

Also on a side note whats with all the McFadden is gay? Is there a story behind it all? Just curious as it seems quiet amusing.

Any help would be much appreciated

  10. OK ill be honest upfront. I am a Liverpool fan and will take any abuse forthcoming.

Im from Scotland (Just outside Glasgow) but was brought up from an early early age as a Liverpool fan. My dad was a massive Celtic fan and followed him when he moved to Liverpool. Since where I stay is very bad with regards to the old firm a bigotry my mum and dad decided to push me towards an English team and hence forth a red I was to become.

I browse loads of football forums and this does seem to be on eof the better ones and alot more sensible than some of the crap thats out there. Even though I am a red I adore James Mcfadden (In a completely non gay way). He was outstanding at motherwell and has provided me with my best football moment ever with Paris and THAT goal.

Anyways I hope you dont mind me joining and I hope to contribute with my own style.
