Seargent is being released on a free in the summer as they don't think he is capable of making the breakthrough into the first team. It's rumoured Tranmere are interested in offering him a contract.

Hearing he's coming to England tommorow and Pompey are favourites for his signing think i remember him being a huge prospect a few years ago and sounds like he' still a decent player. Think he's an attacking midfielder could be a good signing surely were more attractive than Pompey even without a Russian billionare.

I hear all the noise about us maybe mulling over whether to keep Kroldrup but let's be honest, he is quoted on a Danish sportschannel as saying he is keen to go asap.  Pity cos sounded like he was good last night - Should have been given a chance !!

 

On signings, we now need at least one striker, a central defender and possibly either another striker or a midfielder.  My preferences from the players linked would be Healy (Cheap and a good fit for what we need), Upson(Out of contract in 12 months, won't want to go down with Brummies) and then either Nugent, Trundle, Gravesen or Petrov.  Would want AJ but no chance as Jordan is a knob.

 

Hope we've got the money - thi nk we are playing the opposite of what happening in summer, playing down our money to spend, keeping quiet etc.  Has got to work better than with Parker and Emre !!

Upson may be out of contract in 12mths but Birmingham have an option of a further 2yrs so we won't get him on the cheap.

One swallow does'nt make a summer but he did have a good game. He looked confident and just as important, his defenders looked as though they were confident in him. Did enough to justify selection for the next game but now needs a run of consistent performances to repay Moyes faith in him.

Spanish daily 'Marca' has reported today that keane has passed a medical for real madrid.  lets hope that tommys days are numbered and will be pulling on a blue shirt soon

The only blue shirt he pulls on will be a Utd away shirt. Don't need him now, we only saw the best of him in a 5-4-1 system and to we don't have a forward who can play that system. Please don't say Bent to that last suggestion as he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Leave it to the end of the season and his price will drop further. Sell him now, it's pretty obvious he can't cut the mustard in the Premiership. No pace and drifts out of games too easily.
