Twintown Toffee

I'm very keen on twins .

 

Though perhaps I misunderstand .

The "Minnesota Twins" and the Toffees have some similar traits, over achievers with limited budgets for example. But man it was a tough weekend to be a fan, the Twins were swept at home by the Rangers and we all know what happened at Wembley.

Still a loyal fan though through thick and thin.

Support for the Toffees is certainly far reaching, I know several Everton fans here in the twin cities. I wonder how many Twins fans there are in Liverpool?

Who can the Blues attract that would be a better option than Moyes? Given the current state of the club I just don't see anybody.....now some deep pocketed investors on the other hand.....that could change things for the better, and by better I mean a realistic chance to play in Europe and contend for the league.

We quit attacking in the 2nd half and that spelled our doom, when one tries not to lose rather than going for the win the result is usually negative.

A wonderful madness it is.

We seem to be firing on all cylinders at the moment and the Reds are forced to use their 3rd string goalie, I like our chances.

Evertonians and their team seem to embody what is important in sport, celebrate triumphs that are earned not those which are purchased.

Lastly I would consider burning that bloody red shirt... but guess who had to shell out the cash to pay for the blasted thing.

 

Can your daughter not get counselling?

What can I say she's stubborn, must get it from her mother.

First let me say that I'm a lifelong baseball fan from the great state of Minnesota and my heart belongs to the Twins, that said however I have to admit to the discovery of a new love and that would be the Toffees of Everton. Being a typical Yank I've never really considered following soccer but this past fall my daughter and I decided to watch an EPL broadcast and we've been hooked ever since. After a lot of time spent researching english football on the web and watching games on the tube it became evident that Everton was the team for me. Unfortunately my daughter decided the other team from Liverpool was her side of choice and proudly wears a red jersey when we watch matches. Needless to say the FA cup semi this Saturday will be watched with keen interest in our house.
