Josh Berno
He came on as a substitute and scored a vital goal the match ended 2-1 to Nigeria with Japan scoring near the end and the game had a great finish. Took the goal very well good finish lets hope he comes back from the olympics like a man an can step in for Johnson (unlikely)
JohnDTraynor
Well that's fine but he should be playing for Everton not taking part in an amateur competition.

jamiemaher85
Well that's fine but he should be playing for Everton not taking part in an amateur competition. Thats a bit harsh. I think you'll find that alot of footballers really want to play in this tournament. If team GB where allowed to enter yo might look at it slightly differently. But with players like Messi and Ronaldinho playing in the tournament just deriding it as an "amateur" competition is a bt rich. I'm pleased Vic is playing there, think he could use the experience. God knows he needs to improve if he is going to cut it at the top level and oppurtunites like this will really offer him the chance to try and expand his game. Thought he took his goal well, M'bia's goal was ok as well. Anyone seen the goals? If not you can watch them online on BBC website
