  1. Even though City have our name this season with the Lescott deal, Arry is on a differant planet.... How he has never been charged is beyond me.... Whatever happened to the enquiry that was due to happen after the Panorama programme?
  2. 'Arry fancies Martin Petrov, City only have a young lad called Weiss as cover for SWP, Bentley is a Hughes old boy. I think City want two players for each position.
  3. There are some growing rumours that Bentley is on his way to Man City, in a deal rumoured to be £12m + Martin Petrov. According to an ITK on Bluemoon....
  4. When we signed Ball, he was one of the major reasons we didnt go down (the year Sheff Utd went down). He did really, really well. Then he seemed to slide a bit, he did a good job for us,despite what others will say. If he's your cover full back (obviously Baines wil be 1st choice), then on a free I think he'd be a good signing. Unless you have any kids in reserve. We are well covered at LB with Bridge, Garido & McGivern.
  5. I'm hoping Ned doesnt leave (I'm a city fan by the way!). I think he's still a bit raw, he's a cracking defender but his distribution leaves a lot to be desired, I really have high hopes for him. Of the two (NO & MR) the potential is with NO for me. Richards has gone backwards (loss of speed, increase in bulk, no improvement in positional sense etc). Ask me if I think there is a chance MH will sacrifice NO for JL, the answer unfortunately is "yes". I hope we keep him & I hope he becomes what we at City all think he can.....
  6. I'd take Cahill (Bolton) or Taylor (Newcastle) as a replacement if/when Joley leaves. Seriously boys, you'd rather have dogsh*t like this over nedum? He is a future England International. Stuart Pearce loves him! He is seriously quality! If you got offered him, snap him up! I hope to god we dont do it,it would be a monumental mistake! I'd rather Ben Haim\Caciedo\(dare I say it)Bellamy\Dunne go plus the cash!
  7. MCFC Through & Through

  8. Yeah he's a genius apparently. He went to a well known private school. Apparently he's fluent in several languages, etc. He may not be up to Lescott's level yet, but he is several years younger. He had quite a few injuries as a young lad (17-20), similar to Steven Gerrard, growing pains etc. I'd be gutted to see him go, I see him being 1st choice for us next season. I really dont see Richard Dunne starting if we get another centre half. Now theres a player well worth £5m & would do a great job whilst you brought Rodwell through a bit more. You guys seem to really rate Richards on here, I'm not sure why, 3 years ago he looked awesome, no, he looks well out of his depth! He really has lost his way, his positional sense hasnt come on, and he looks like he's lost half a yard of pace....still he may turn it round, and thats why he wont be allowed to leave...
  9. Now if this is the case you can keep lescott....... Page 137 onwards....... http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=130847&start=3400 Ned is awesome!
  10. City fan in peace! Hate all this opening bid shite being made public. City should have just asked what the price is. If they agree with Everton's valuation, agree, give Moyes time to find the next bargain, and then announce it. I think £20-£22m is a fair valuation, considering City apparently now pay all fees in one lump sum, rather than the staged payments we are use to in the UK. That alone has to be worth a couple of million extra in intrest over the next three years. I rate lescott, I really do. Think he's a top player, would love him, but if you turn us down, then all credit to you. Cheers
  11. To be fair I dont think you'd want Elano, he's a bad apple & has NO work ethinc. Off your original list I'd let you have Jo for sure esp if you rate him at £10m. Cheers for the welcome. There are a couple of Toffee's fan who post on our sites, mainly to wind up, but its all good banter.
  12. I'm not being funny (Im a man city fan - I should be piss funny following such a joke) but if you after a cheap wide man, I think you could do a lot worse than look at Chris Brunt at West Brom, I think he had a cracking season & would cost about the same you are talking for Eagles.
  13. Evening Gents, Man City fan here, dont worry I come in peace! Signed up on here & Grand Old Club, this week, just to read your thoughts on some of the gossip. This post has caught my eye. I have to be honest & looking at the list of players mentioned here, I honestly think that realistically only Jo would be allowed to leave the club, to go to a side with the potential to break top 4 (thats you!). Maybe Richards, but certainly for more than £6m. I've added my personal thoughts & prices above. What do you think? Also in your transfer thread there is talk of Arteta. I've never read this (as good as he is, its not worht going for. We couldnt get him). I think Cahill is boss! There are a few players you've not mentioned who you may consider? Ben Haim - £2m. Its just not worked out for him at City, but was great at Bolton Richard Dune £5m - THE legend at City, been the best buy of all time. 4 time player of the year, I think maybe Hughes wants to freshen things up. Top bloke. Gets slated but a top bloke. I for one will be sorry if he goes, but I think it could happen. Elano £8m. Fell out with Hughes. End of. Javier Garrido £1m (Can play LB or LM, good player, with a good brain, defending can sometimes be suspect. As good as Wayne Bridge, but will never play coz of WB's price tag. Benjani £2m. Full of effort but somehow just hasnt worked for him at City. If Tevez comes maybe Bellamy. Didnt want him, but he has impressed me big time. If CT comes, I dont see where he fits. What do you think? PS I'd pay what you ask for Lescott.
