  1. I hope they stick with a dark contrast colour like the navy on this year's shirt! Not a massive fan of the white collars / details - thought this season's was the best kit in AGES.
  2. Thanks Mike, that's much appreciated It was definitely a bit cringe-worthy but it got people talking about the club (even if not for the right reasons! haha)
  3. I recently made a post on Reddit about the poor handling of our recent exposure in the USA, mainly encouraging new fans from the US more than having a go at the commercial department. http://www.reddit.com/r/Everton/comments/2bzd50/amevertonians_how_to_increase_everton_presence_in/
  4. Something like this tenaciousj??? Considered adding the stripes but thought that it looked 'off'.
  5. What you think of this one Louis? Modified your concept a little - hope that's ok?
  6. Hmm, not sure on the liverbird - here's a version of my logo with a bird. Thoughts?
  7. I actually think the club has a bit of an identity crisis that makes a re-design so difficult. If we look at Hull's re-branding as Hull City Tigers, let's imagine we lived in a world where all teams adopted the US way of having club names - what would Everton be? Let's look at the other prem clubs: Manchester Devils (United) Chelsea Lions Tottenham Spurs Arsenal Gunners Manchester Citizens (City) Liverpool Liverbirds (though I think the Liverpool Redshites has a ring to it ;P) What recognizable US-inspired name would we have? Everton Toffees? The main DEFINING things about us is BLUE, TOFFEES, TOWER, NSNO. It's a difficult job for the design team to re-brand us. We need it to stay relevant & current. Whatever the design we will definitely be keeping everything within one shape e.g. the shield and I think it's definitely going to be the tower or something completely NEW. Either way, no matter what the badge looks like - it's our team, our club & we need to get behind this new badge without complaint so we can focus on the team Let's destroy WBA today. IMWT - COYB!
  8. Hi guys, Basically - the logo needs to be refined, made easier for Nike to reproduce and made easier to view on new media and high definition. My attempts: What do you think? TheKrow
  9. How did you feel about last season? Last season was an interesting one, normally we are notoriously slow starters then have an amazing finish to the season - yet last season we came out all guns blazing and looked immense but seemed to get tired legs towards the end. Glad to finish above Liverpool again - should hopefully prove that these "underdogs" have got some serious bite! Who was your hero last season? Baines! This guy is the real deal and was our best player last season and was truly one of the best in the world. Last season’s villain? Jelavic! Couldn't hit a barn door - he showed his ability the previous season which has us relishing a full season with him but he just lost it last season. Most exciting young player? Deulofeu! This guy is touted as Barcelona's next big thing, potentially the next Messi. Let's see how he gets on in the royal blue shirt this season. Who do you expect to make an impact this season? Mirallas! This guy is immense. I can't wait to see him have a full season adjusted in the Premier League, he is going to run defenses ragged! How do you feel about the owner? You've gotta love Blue Bill. How many owners out there truly love their football club? He might not always make the best decisions but he's got Everton in his heart. How do you feel about the manager? Moyes did great things for us, although he was very frustrating tactically! Bobby M plays exciting, beautiful football so I'm excited to see how we play this season...though I hope we don't let as many goals in as Wigan last season. Are you happy with your club’s summer transfer dealings? We actually got signings done early for once, the way I see it is we replaced all of our departing players (Mucha, Neville & Hitzlsperger) with even better players and a great prospect. I'd be happy with one or two additions but I think we're as strong a team as we've been in a long time. Prediction for next season? 5th. I still don't think we can compete financially with City, United, Chelsea & Spurs but I think Arsenal could have a poor season which will allow us to hit 5th and get Europe. Let's not forget we have an FA Cup winning manager...so you never know!
  10. I was thinking something like this would be perfect:
