  1.

You're completely entitled to your opinions for sure but sometimes you need a thick skin if they go against the majority! Love Stubbsy and always will and there'd be nothing better than a true Blue taking the club forward! Stick around and fight your cornersmile.png.

I just don't appreciate the abuse, that I and Stubbsy have taken tonight, that's all.

  2. Did you watch the match? did nothing to put Fandango ove.r treated him like a jobber and that match stole a spot from Barrett v Miz, Cesaro etc just so Vince can promote Jericho "mainstream" appeal from dancing with stars and having a dance off with his new creation. Curtis will be jobbing in months due to Vinces short sightedness

Barrett vs Miz had nobody interested let's be honest. Atleast there was some interest in the Jericho v Fandago.

  3. By all means it just seems very Red orientated. I can see lots of them wanting to invade our space and put forward silly names just for the argument. But if it is your honest opinion you are very welcome to have it. Just don't expect folks to agree no matter how much you belabour it. wink.png

I can think of much worse than Alan Stubbs my friend. And I'm not expecting people to agree with me, just to respect my opinions, which quite frankly hasn't happened, I feel a little bit disrespected and picked on, this a website where people can express there opinions, not to belittle them and make them feel bad.

  4. I think you have to look past the results and league placings with some managers depending on their circumstances. Do I think Mancini or Di Matteo because they won the Premier League and Champions League respectively? No I dont, they are average managers in my opinion who have been fortunate to end up at a top club.

Martinez moulded Swansea into the team they are now and ironically he has actually for a solid starting 11 if he could actually get them all on the pitch at the same time.

I also find it slightly laughable that you dont rate Martinez yet you are promoting someone who has never managed a football club in his life. True blue maybe but I very much doubt that Stubbsy, who it would be fair to say isnt the sharpest tool in the box, would ever be a good enough manager to take on such a challenge.

Stubbs not the sharpest tool in the box? The man is a club legend, he knows the ins and outs.

And we could argue all day who moulded Swansea into the team they are today, in my honest opinion it wasn't Martinez. And like Phenomenon said he's had more than enough chances to even break into the mid table, but he continues to be fighting relegation every season.

  5. You say we should aim higher than Martinez and then name a man who has never managed at the top level... Baffling to say the least.

I've seen what Martinez can do, we'll be finishing seventeenth every season, Stubbs could guide us to Europe, we don't know, It's like saying turnips are vile, how would I know I've never tried them?

  6. dont think people are forgetting, it's just this topic has been covered over and over again!

I don't think you can cover that topi enough, look Martinez is a nice guy, decent manager, but we should be aiming higher than a guy who can only marginally survive every season, for me Alan Stubbs is the perfect choice given time.
